Sun_Addict said:Will definitely do it again. It’s a shame she lives so far away. Mr SA was happy because I bought him a new sweatshirt and PJ bottoms from Primani. DD was off work so he wasn’t alone.DS and the GKs came today. I was a bit worried about there being 7 of us in the house at the same time but DD stayed in her room. The GKs went straight up to her again so they could all be gamers together. DGS is really good at computer games at 4 years old. He knows about trading and everything 🤣 Who knew the church next door to our house is a Pokemon hot spot 🤣 The dog was quite upset because they didn’t want to play with her. She’d been looking out of the window for them all morning. I don’t know how she senses when they’re coming.

Hi SA just delurking due to Bryan Ferry comment. I thought he was 'sex on legs' and luckily so did my mum! When I was a teenager my mum used to put my clean laundry on my bed and I had to hang it up in the wardrobe. Suddenly my mum started hanging it up in the wardrobe for me. Discovered this was due to her drooling over the Bryan Ferry poster inside my wardrobe door! Thank you for mentioning him brought back very fond memories of my Mum who has sadly been gone for over 23 years. Last time I saw him live was late 2003 and he was still 'sex on legs' then and, of course, also still hugely talented8

Paspatur, your comment reminded me of my own dear mum, sadly gone for 20 years now. She loved Rick Parfitt from Status Quo, she had a poster of him on her bedroom wall, which I used to think was hilarious as a teenager. She would’ve been devastated when he passed away had she still been here. Thank you for delurking to share your story.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Ended up going to Aldi after work, firstly to get my steps count up and secondly to pick up a cheap bottle of gin to use with the fancy flavoured tonics I got for my birthday (seems a waste to use them on my best gin, I like to taste the gin not the tonic). Got a litre bottle for £14.19, had to sample it just in case it was off, and to be honest it’s not bad at all 👍 Of course I ended up picking other bits up but it was a worthwhile trip. I was surprised how warm it was in the sun after being indoors most of the day. Thankfully no one seems to be panic buying in my area so Aldi was a pleasant shopping experience.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
