My steps go down if I'm working... I found an evening saunter makes quite a difference, but of course that's dependent on the weather. I keep thinking I should do an early run like you: I'm not at all a morning person but running sets me up for the day so perhaps I should try it (again, depending on the weather).I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Yes weather has a big impact on my steps - I’m a fair weather walker - no good in extremes of heat and cold or wet.....I only managed 4 k yesterday and that was with a trip to a garden centre.
I’m still thinking positive vibes for your holidays SA.January spends - £587.589 -
Some good news in that Mr SA's PIP has been reviewed and rewarded until August 2030. I'd forgotten it was due for review so I guess this is one plus side to the virus, he might have been called in otherwise, although last time he had a review they did say he wouldn't be called in again. I think all the evidence is there he's never going to improve.
Also more good news is that the sun has come out and it's very warm, this wasn't predicted by my weather app 😎

Great that the PIP has been renewed, though sad that improvement is unlikely.
We haven't seen the sun for days! So much for August

Got my step count up by going for a walk after work. It was very warm and sunny so very pleasant. The dog wouldn’t come with me although she’d been out a few times with Mr SA earlier in the day. Providing it’s not raining in the morning will go for a run.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

Morning 😎
Pleased to report I went for my 5k run this morning, it was spitting with rain but nothing much so went for it. Was a tad annoyed that I had to run on the road to allow a man on a bike ride on the pavement. Usually the cyclist will apologise and go on the road but this man just glared at me - so ignorant 😒 Have clocked up 7k steps already and feel really energised, well worth the effort. Once the mornings get dark the running plan will have to be revised. Probably swap back to treadmill running after work.
Not had any breakfast yet and I'm starving, Mr SA ate the last of the bread and I forgot to do my overnight oats. Mr M order coming soon so will have to wait.
Holiday wise, from what they said on last night's news a decision will be made about the next batch of countries on/off the list later in the week. I've got to the stage where I'm not bothered either way. As far as I can see Greece are still well under the 20 per 100,000 infection rate trigger that the UK use before changing the travel advice. If we end up not going plan C is to book a nice restaurant for a meal probably in the city centre.
Have a fabulous day x
