Day 1 done 👍 Shattered. It was ok to be honest, will be easier tomorrow now I feel I know what I’m doing a bit more. Felt like a headless chicken at first. Still be glad when it’s Friday though. Not done any exercise today, have been glued to my chair all day. 

Mr M order coming tomorrow. Hoping to not have to go to the shops until at least the tail end of the week depending on what’s missing from my order. 

Jet2 tried to ring me today but I couldn’t take the call. I’m going to ask them to offset the holiday money against the August holiday, then if that doesn’t happen to rebook another holiday then. Just keep the money rolling forward.

Can I ask what date you were supposed to fly? My Mum is waiting for a call from Jet2 too Xx

Aw thanks Beanie but I haven’t done anything that helpful today. Thanks to our brilliant IT and guidance colleagues who have built this system from scratch the majority of people have been able to self serve very successfully. My team pick up the calls if there’s a problem. 

Using the online calling software has been a steep learning curve for me as I’ve never used it before. I’m learning on the hoof.

Finding it hard to relax tonight, my head is spinning.

@please-let-me-be-lucky we were due to fly 28 April. If your mum goes on manage my bookings she will be able to rebook or ask for a credit note if that’s what she wants to do. Otherwise you have to wait for them to call you.

Thanks for that SA. Mum was due to fly yesterday, but it’s a refund she’s after so she’s waiting for a call. When they emailed her they said she’d get a call within 10 days, but it’s been a bit longer than that now Xx

@please-let-me-be-lucky I think they’ve been busier than anticipated. It’s very scary, I think Jet2 are absolutely brilliant and I would be gutted if they went under. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I’ve got a package holiday rather than just flights. There seems to be a delay if it’s just flights.
