Making a butternut squash risotto tonight as I need to use up the squash and some mushrooms. I never got round to replacing my Arborio rice when it ran out (you snooze you lose) so I will be using pearl barley which is a pretty good substitute. Mr SA is having a pork loin joint which is cooking in the slow cooker.
Usually do the finances on Sunday but gone off the boil with it a bit, will pick it up when I get paid on Tuesday.
Mr SA is talking about going out on his scooter tomorrow just round the block. Can't see a problem with it really as he won't be going near anyone. It might do him good to see people queuing outside the shops in their masks and gloves. He's started on a birthday pester and wants a digital watch, sat constantly searching for them on his Kindle and showing them to me. He's got several digital watches, all similar. I've tried to make him see he might have to be patient and wait until all this is over and have a delayed birthday but of course he's not playing ball. He seems to be totally oblivious to what's going on which must be nice.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8947 -

Morning all
Running late today, didn't wake up until 6.40, usually 4.40 when I'm at work and 5.40 when I'm working from home. Must be the loss of that hour catching up with me.
Mr SA had several accidents last night resulting in 4 different changes of PJs. Was very annoyed when I discovered this was because he had downed rather a lot of beer. Have told him this must stop and he has to cut down drastically or face not having any at all as I've no plans to trawl all over looking for beer for him. He knows he's in the wrong and is keeping out of my way. He even took the dog on the park this morning, there was no one else there apparently.
I've done the Joe Wicks workout, will go out for a walk at lunchtime and running after work. Trying to plan some sort of timetable to balance work and home stuff.
Hope everyone has a good day in spite of things xx

Popped out to the shops earlier. An old bloke pushed past me in the post office and nearly knocked me over. Then he stood right behind me in the queue. Went to Savers afterwards, just one bloke in front of me outside. An old lady tapped him on the shoulder went right up to him and asked him if he was in the queue. I called across I'm part of the queue too, she totally ignored me and pushed in front to get in the shop. Honestly totally oblivious to what's going on!!!!
Apart from that it was pretty quiet.

SA so thoughtless , no wonder you don't want to go out , better off at home. My neighbours are out nearly everyday at the shops , they go in their car . Over 70 and are OCD with cleaning , so I thought they would stay in of all the people that live here .Hope Mr SA has no more accidents, you must be tired keep being woken up by him .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.9

Oh that's awful SA, how can people be so rude 😡. They need a shop member to police the queues. It would serve the rude people right if they caught the virus, but they'll probably just end up giving it to others 😡. I'm trying to limit visits to the shops to twice a week as I'm a bit frightened of shopping at the moment. I felt much safer in the wide open spaces of the park.
How annoying of Mr SA to give you all that trouble. It will serve him right if he runs out of beer.

Hope Mr SA behaves for you, SA.
Do you know, it seems to be mostly older people that we've come across who are refusing to abide by social distancing or staying at home so far. Some of them seem to think they know better. 🤷♀️
Mind you, saying that we've also still heard about teenagers roaming around the streets as well. 🙄Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.6 -
That's Monday done.
Going to do a run on the treadmill before watching Jamie Oliver then have a bath and cook dinner. I'm having the other half of the butternut squash risotto I made yesterday, Mr SA is having his favourite Pukka pie and chips. I think he's taken note about the beer, it's not that I mind him drinking it, I don't want to sound mean, he just needs to cut down the volume, I think a lot of it is boredom.
Scottish Power have put down my direct debit by £10 a month. They only put it up 2 months ago, I knew I was paying too much.
Payday tomorrow so will do finances. Also final Mr M delivery, hopefully I'll get everything I've ordered, if so that will tide us over for another week. I don't mind giving up my delivery slots for those unable to go out, I'm fit and well (I think) and can go out.
