Happy Friday and happy November :)

    November already

Been really busy this week so not posted. All ok thankfully. Got an even busier week next week but working from home 2 days which will make it a lot easier. Going to London on Tuesday for a meeting, Mr SA not happy about it, tough, it's my job, our HQ is in London, I have to go sometimes end of. I'll be home at the normal time so he won't be late getting his evening meal.

Went out for lunch with work friend today which was nice :)

Payday yesterday will update finances this weekend.

Hurt my knee at Kettlefit last night :( It was a different instructor, he wasn't great to be honest, he made us use really heavy kettle bells and as I swung mine I bashed my knee. Got a corker of a bruise :(

Had what seemed like a million trick or treaters at our house last night. They were queuing in our drive at one point. All the kids were lovely, polite and dressed in brilliant Halloween costumes so I didn't mind. Some of the houses round our way had fab decorations, put our pumpkin tea light holder to shame. Now for the fireworks ....

Hope everyone is ok, will catch up with diaries over the weekend. Nothing much planned thank goodness.

  • Hope your knee feels better soon. We also had lots of trick or treaters, but I probably encourage them by decorating the house/garden . Xx

  • Knee sounds painful, hope it feels better soon.

No trick or treaters for us, one of the perks of living In the sticks, although its a perfect place for halloween as we are surrounded by woodland and there is an old church and graveyard.

    Happy Saturday :)

Not done much today, weather has been a mixture of sun and rain. Didn't go to WW as it started pouring with rain and didn't feel like braving it just to be told I'd stayed the same. Took the dog on the park twice before they closed it off to set up the bonfire. Luckily it stayed dry for the firework display which I watched from the comfort of my sofa. Dog and cat not bothered by the fireworks in the least.

Got all the cleaning done and meal planned for next week. Tomorrow going to Insanity, need to go to Aldi and do finances.

Watching TV and now the Christmas ads have started

  • Your dog is very lucky getting two walks in the park :). You've got a lot done. I hope you enjoy Insanity today.

The weather has been awful - think it rained here all day yesterday. Didn’t inspire me to move out - not even to go to a firework display which I usually enjoy to do. Pleased to hear the furries were ok with the fireworks.
Will you get chance for a meander somewhere nice when you go to London for work. Pity your dd can’t cook Mr S tea so that you don’t need to rush.

    Happy Sunday :)

Had to cancel Insanity this morning, getting out of the shower I twisted awkwardly and my back popped, it really hurt. Feeling a lot easier now though so no lasting damage done thankfully. Insanity is so full on I just daren't risk it. Had a good walk up to Aldi and back though. Mr SA came on his scooter and we took the dog so she had a good walk too.

Have booked myself in for a Yogafit class tomorrow after work so hopefully that will stretch everything out.

Finances done - slight overspend in the grocery budget, have a decent stock in now so not too late to make up the shortfall.

VSP now holds £559.45 so hit my £550 target for the end of the month. Target for end November is £600 then it will be released into the wilds of Christmas. Another £250 went into my regular saver on payday so now have £1250 in there - so pleased I decided to do this, one of my better ideas :)

Still got to pay off £126.64 to completely clear the CC, it was £103.89 the other day so my calculations must have gone adrift somewhere. Got until the end of November before it's due though.

Milann I doubt I'll get a wander round London on Tuesday, I'm going on the 08.00 train and returning on the 14.30 and it's a fair walk from the station to the office (I don't do underground unless absolutely necessary). Plus I'll be walking with the boss so won't be able to please myself. It will be strictly work not pleasure I'm afraid. I will get the train journeys to myself though so will grab a coffee, put my headphones in and read my book for the 1.5 hours journey. I'm doing Mr SA something in the slow cooker on Tuesday and I'm having a portion of the aubergine curry I'm making today so no real cooking to do when I get home. DD doesn't finish work until 9pm in the week, she does the 12-9 shift. I should be home just after 5pm so not really any later than normal.

I don't think I mentioned I've booked the panto for Mr SA and I the last Sunday before Christmas. We're going to the matinee so will go for lunch first and make a nice afternoon of it. Mr SA cocked his nose up at it but I know he'll enjoy it, he loved the panto last time we went and wanted to book up for the following year on the way out.

Thank goodness no getting up as early tomorrow, working from home means an extra hour in bed - bliss :)

Boo to not being able to enjoy some winter sunshine in London but that all sounds lovely and finances well on track :j. Lots of fun stuff planned too, specially the panto. I am like Mr SA, love a good panto me :rotfl:

Am off to yoga myself soon. Hope your back stays better. Need to stretch myself out and not properly exercised all week although have done some long hilly walks but not quite the same

    Have a good week xx
