Oops forgot to say,my mum bought me the Mrs Hinch book a couple of weeks ago ( I don't know what she's trying to say😂) it's quite a funny read, she comes across as a very down to earth housewife and I had a mental image of her in my mind then I saw a photo of her and she is really glamourous

Morning folks Happy Easter:easter_ba
Just having a coffee while I've got a hair mask on and a plastic shower cap on my head - staying away from the window don't want to frighten anyone
Plans for today are do finances, give the house a good clean and pack the cases. If I can get that all done this morning I can spend the afternoon in the sun.
Not exactly looking forward to doing finances as have been randomly spending the past few days. This always happens just before I go on holiday, I go free range. Thankfully the rebate from Scottish Power should cover it, bit cross with myself for frittering it though.
Have a fab day everyone, don't eat too much chocolate

Happy Easter :EasterBun.
I also always seem to spend a fortune just before I go on holiday usually on toiletries, I hope you have a lovely break and enjoy the sunshine.0 -
Evening all

The murder on DS's road made the national news, sounds like the bloke went on a right rampage
Cleaned the whole house and packed the suitcases, plus spent enough time in the sun to get a pre-holiday tan
I do tan easily though thanks to taking after my olive skinned dad not my fair freckled mum.
Finances done and the CC is paid off. Wasn't as scary as I thought. However, going in town tomorrow, Mr SA needs sunglasses, so do I. We're going to Primani first but Mr SA has been warned not to go mad as he really doesn't need anything bar maybe a pair of shorts.
The dog has been a little bu$$er today, I'm sure she knows we're going away.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I'm glad you found time to enjoy the sunshine today SA

Mr SA has driven me mad today
Shopping in town resulted in him picking up 4 pairs of shorts in Primani including a shirt in the wrong size I'll have to take back - so cross with him he knows he's XXL so why did he pick up a too small shirt. Cross with myself I didn't check.
So he's had 4 pairs of shorts, some canvas shoes, sunglasses and yet another man bag. He's reminded me the wallet is still outstanding
Well I'm shattered and so ready for a week of hopefully relaxing, guess he will be on a wallet hunt though. Walked to and from town and all over so 18,000 steps and my ankle is swollen
Suitcases are packed, the wheelchair is out, taxi booked for 06.15. We're booked into the VIP lounge again, well worth the money, can park Mr SA in there with unlimited coffees and bacon rolls while I have a look around the airport then come back for a glass of bubbly before we board
Lanzarote weather has been a bit dodgy the last few days but according to FB page all back to normal and hot and sunny now. Can't wait
