I'm beginning to think that Mr SA would manage to buy a wallet anywhere - even at the bakers!:rotfl:

Seriously though I hope his rash is on the mend.

It's handy to know going forward that you can get a free theatre ticket as a carer. Cuts the cost down quite a bit - perhaps you can make it a more regular occurrence - it'll get him out a bit more too.

    Friday :j :j

Had a lovely afternoon with my old school friends today. I was very restrained and only had one glass of wine :)

One of my friends brought her 20 something daughter with her as she was en route to the train station, had to laugh when the daughter wanted to get a pitcher of cocktails and her mum wouldn't let her :rotfl:

Mr SA is doing my head in at the moment, nothing specific just generally chipping away at my sanity :( I had 3 phone calls from him at work before 8am. In the end I had to put my phone in my bag as I needed to concentrate on figures that really needed to be right. He doesn't understand that I've got a proper job, he's never taken it seriously.

Mr SA has got the footie on tonight - boo boring :(

DS and co were meant to be coming tomorrow as DIL is having her hair done at my hairdressers. However, GD has just started with chicken pox. At first I said it's ok Mr SA has had it then remembered because he's had a stem cell transplant the new immune system hasn't encountered chicken pox. So they're not coming now, it's not worth the risk.

  • Glad you had a good time with your friends :).

It's a shame you won't see DS and family tomorrow but it's not worth risking Mr SA's health.

I can totally sympathise with your G.S. My son can be a little like him. Not so much hitting other children and teachers but some of the other behaviours. Once he finally got speech therapy and was able to communicate things got a little easier. Your GD is really cute! We love Rapunzel here too! It's a shame you won't be able to see them though.

I saw Benidorm back in October. I haven't really watched the show but I was accompanying someone and I really enjoyed it!

 to Mr. SA and his wallet!

There’s a lot of chicken pox around at the moment. My eldest gdd started with it between Christmas and new year and youngest started as she finished. They were both really poorly. Not worth taking the risk with Mr SA.

I’m pleased you managed to get out - you need to make a bit of time for yourself.

    Happy Sunday everyone :)

DIL still had hairdressers yesterday so she popped in for a cuppa before she went back home. She'd been to the Next sale at 5am and spent £180  She bought me a grow your own gin garnish kit which was really nice of her. GD is covered in spots but ok otherwise.

Stayed the same at WW, still 2lbs under goal, happy with that. Need to be careful this week as we're going out for lunch before we go to the theatre and then on Friday I'm going out for a drink after work with my old team (only the one though). I've already done most of my meal plan.

Just done a Mr S online shop for next week as they sent me a voucher for £8 off £50 spend, have kept it as low as possible. Need to go to Aldi later on this morning although I don't need much - I say this every week then end up spending more than I intended to. I wouldn't bother going but their cottage cheese is much nicer than anyone else's and cheaper!

Really must weed the drive today before it gets out of hand. Has anyone used one of those electric weed killers - are they any good?

Mr SA came out with a real gem last night - he asked if I have life insurance as he's worried about how he'd manage financially if I (his words) snuff it. Lovely Saturday night topic :( I just assured him he'd be ok. What he doesn't know is that he'd actually be quite well off. I have life insurance that would pay off the mortgage plus he'd get 2 years of my salary from work plus a pay out from my pension. That would buy him lots of wallets and man bags. Needless to say if anything happened to him I'd get zilch.

On that cheery note, have a great day :)

  • I’d be watching out for arsenic in your coffee SA! This wallet obsession may know no bounds .

Never tried Aldi cottage cheese. Thanks for the tip Xx
