My hair is always like a bush Beanie. I have to wash it every day as it's just a mad tangle of frizz in the morning. No one believes me as it looks ok once I've blow dried it. A hazard of having fine hair but a lot of it.

  • Really want to try that pizza SA! I have copied and pasted the recipe etc. Congrats on the half a pound.

Saturday went quick here too. Hope Mr SA is ok and you are enjoying a gin of some description.
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Good news on the half-pound loss. Youre bound to be at your fighting weight by the time the holiday comes around.

Agree with all that the pizza sounds lush! And so easy to make as well.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I make a version of that pizza base, cooked on a griddle or dry frying pan and use it instead of flatbreads - I think it came from Jamie Oliver's website - love it. Never thought of using it for pizza base though, so thanks for the idea.

    Happy Sunday folks :)

Despite saying I was going to have a quiet Saturday and Sunday, I've hardly stopped all weekend. Today I've meal planned for the week ahead, done my finances, been to Aldi and been batch cooking. Just need to take the dog out again, do my Abs Challenge, paint my nails and have a bath.

    My meal plan:

Sunday dinner: Butternut squash dhal with cauliflower rice (WW recipe)

Monday - Thursday work lunches: Chickpea, butternut squash, kale and lime soup (WW recipe and my absolute favourite soup)

Friday lunch out at Spoons - will probably have the 5 bean chilli as lowest in points

    Evening meals:
Monday: Baked sweet potato and quorn chilli (need to get rid of a sweet potato, the chilli is already made and in the freezer)

Tuesday: Aubergine curry and rice (already made and in the freezer)

Wednesday: Stir fry (whatever veg I've got left plus the last portion of noodles that need using up as out of date)

Thursday: Butternut squash roast (using up out of freezer)

Friday: Mediterranean tuna (using up some roast veg from the freezer)

Snacks will be fruit, cottage cheese and crispbreads and WW bars

Breakfast will be my usual fruit and 0% natural yoghurt.

    All sorted :)

Scores on the doors this week:

VSP £95.52 - on target to hit £100 by end January :)
Barclaycard £1570.00 - no movement here until payday
Emergency fund £3266.50 - will be no progress here until April payday
Holiday £1034.00 - no movement here until payday

Weight loss - 0.5lbs making it 2lbs this month. 2lb over goal weight.
Exercise sessions - Monday cross trainer, Wednesday Pilates, Thursday treadmill, on day 14 of the 30 day abs challenge. No yoga on Tuesday as in London.
Average weekly steps 18,688 up on last week's average on 18,055. Will get the report for this week from Fitbit on Monday night.

Mr SA has cleared the treadmill of junk and has vowed to use it for 10 minutes every day. His walking has got worse over time, I think the scooter is partly to blame for this as he's just not using his legs. It used to be much better than it is. So, partly because I've been nagging him, and partly because he wants to get back to where he was when he first came out of hospital, he's decided to try and do something about it before he is totally disabled.

Looking forward to payday and being able to get the new budget properly in place. Spreadsheets are up and running and I know exactly where every penny is going. Roll on Thursday :j
