I'm scared to let go of it Buffster. The cc is 0% until end March, the holiday is budgeted for and will be paid off.

I've paid off the debt twice now, this is my third time - I don't think I'll ever learn but I am trying as hard as I can.

I need to get into that mind set. And this is also my third time. And I could easily do it again.

Also agree with this :) XXX

  • Congrats on the CC payment!:j. And echoing everyone re the emergency fund! Over £3000 is not to be sniffed at and will cover you for most household emergencies - as you have found out via the fridge and the vet. It's enough to give you peace of mind till you pay off the debt. And well done on having the holiday savings as well. :j

Re Mr SA and the ice skating - I think you would be better off with the dog as your partner!:rotfl:

    That's Monday done :)

Done 21,000 steps today which included a 20 minute run on the treadmill at lunchtime. I've started a 30 day abs challenge via an app, it only takes a few minutes so no excuse.

Tonight is AFD 4/12, got tonic minus the gin - boo hiss :(

I've had my excema flare up on my face of all places, it's really sore and itchy. Had to buy some cream on the way home from work :( Hopefully I can nip it in the bud before it spreads.

    That's Tuesday done :)

Excema less sore today after drenching it in Epiderm last night. The doctor told me last time I had a flare up to get as much moisture into my skin as possible when this happens.

There's always something! At least Mr SA's man flu has gone.

AFD 5/12 tonight. Got another tonic minus the gin - it'll never catch on :rotfl:

Done just over 21,000 steps today and an hour's yoga. Did day 2 of my ab challenge at home on the bedroom floor but was hampered by my dog licking my face!

Should've caught up with my overspend of points by tomorrow, currently on minus 1 :)

Bought some Xmas wrapping paper and crackers from M&S 75% off :) Just need to find somewhere safe to put them so I forget where they are come Xmas.

Mr SA is making us watch a TV programme about ambulances as if we haven't seen enough of them in recent years!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: sorry the remark about Mr SA and ambulances did make me laugh!

Glad that your face is better today. I'll have to have a look in M&S tomorrow to see if the Xmas wrapping paper sale is still on.

And well done on all the exercise!
