The Covid booster is done. Feel ok so far but it’s usually the middle of the night when the reactions start.Went to Mr T on the way home. Lost Mr SA in there, then he appeared at the checkout, just as I’d been served, with a crate of beer and a Lynx set 😱I made him take them back, he was holding up a massive queue, it was so very embarrassing 😳
Had a quick lunch back home then made our way to the park with the Christmas market. Mr SA totally ignored the GKs and sat himself down in the cafe shouting me over to get him a coffee and sausage roll (he’d only had his lunch 30 minutes before!). The market was lovely and there was a male voice choir singing Christmas songs. I bought a couple of plants and some goodie bags for the cats. We just got home as it started to pour with rain so that was lucky.I’m shattered tonight as I’ve done 28,000 steps more or less in one go apart from a very brief sit down to eat lunch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Forgot to say Mr SA’s bomber jacket arrived today. He’s over the moon with it - until the next thing comes up on his pester list that is.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

As predicted I feel absolutely ghastly this morning 🤒 I woke up about midnight freezing cold and no amount of extra throws stopped me from shivering. Then an hour later I was boiling hot. Every single part of my body hurts even my hair! Mr SA is fine again, no side effects whatsoever. From 5am a bloke has been wandering up and down our road in the pouring rain randomly shouting a name. I don’t know whether he’s lost his dog/looking for someone or he’s just drunk!I’m just going to take it easy today, write out my Christmas cards, wrap presents, read and watch Love Actually.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Poor you - that sounds very miserable. Taking it easy is a good idea. I hope you feel better soon.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I am sorry you feel so horrible. Have a very easy day and stay warm or cool as appropriate. It is strange that some people feel so aweul and others get nothing.

Awwww, sorry to hear it's happened again with your jab, @Sun_Addict. I was exactly the same with both my Pfizer boosters - side effects kicked in during the night, starting with feeling very cold & shivery, just how you describe. I felt rotten for most of the day but was ok to function normally the day after. I'm ok after flu & AZ Covid jabs (just a sore arm) - it's just the Pfizers.
Have a gentle day & watch LA.....that's your best bet for today.
