    Can the repairer put a speed limiter on the scooter???

    The scooter speed is limited at 8mph. The scooter isn't damaged thankfully. This is why I would never let him buy a scooter, he doesn't look after them, at least it's all covered by the Motability insurance. He was the same when he was working and had a van, this is a characteristic that hasn't changed. He seems to have an easy come easy go attitude to everything, I'm really careful with my possessions so this is highly annoying.

    On another note, we had a power cut in our local area last night. I saw some comments on local FB groups, some said it was for a few minutes, some said as long as 3 hours. I was fast asleep so oblivious to the fact. I did notice the oven clock flashing this morning which means the electrics must've been off at some stage.
    I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
