I got everything done I wanted to today. Cleared out the greenhouse and picked the last of the aubergines, peppers and tomatoes before putting the plants in the garden waste bin. A haul of 11 aubergines, 5 peppers and 2 tomatoes. The peppers and aubergines have done really well this year.Cashed out £10.47 from Prolific. Only recently started doing surveys again.Mr SA is happy because the World Cup has started. I will be avoiding it as much as possible.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Just awful about having to finish that Prosecco. Hope you somehow manage to gag it down.

That's Monday done.
Worked in the office today, got absolutely soaked on the way home and had to get changed as soon as I got through the door.
I nipped in Lidl on the way home to claim my free bakery item and also picked up some deluxe crisps with 10% off to put away towards Christmas. With a couple of other bits I bought the total was £3.88 so a low spend day.
This afternoon I need to look at finances, do some Spanish, finalise tomorrow's Mr M delivery and do a yoga session.
Tonight's dinner is leftover veggie curry from Saturday with basmati rice.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today, it's going to be super busy from 10am onwards with back to back meetings until 2pm. I'm hoping one of them will finish early enough to allow me to squeeze in at least some of the live bums and tums lunchtime session. If not I'll find a bums and tums on You Tube or FitOn.
Mr M delivery has been and all packed away. Unfortunately the cat food was missing and they have somehow sent me plant based wellington instead of Mr SA's beer battered fish. According to my receipt I've got the fish so have requested a refund stating the fish wasn't what I expected 🤣 Goodness knows what happened there, the picker needs to go to Specsavers!
Octopus have asked me to do the energy saving hour again tonight, this time between 5.30 and 6.30. I don't know if last week's effort amounted to anything.
I have a big pile of ironing to do later plus I need to clean the bathroom and have a general tidy round.
DD bought the dog a Christmas jumper yesterday, she looks really cute in it and she was so proud parading around in it wagging her tail. How DD managed to get the dog to put her legs through the sleeves I don't know as she won't let me put her legs through anything.
Tonight's dinner is harissa prawn orzo and old favourite. I must remember to pick some coriander and chives from the greenhouse for it.

That's Wednesday almost done, not quite there yet though.
Worked in the office until lunchtime, now back home to finish up. Got soaked walking in but it was sunny on the walk home thankfully.
I didn't know until yesterday I had a free coffee courtesy of my Cost@ app, had to use today or lose it so redeemed it on my way to work. The barista said I was very lucky to receive it as it had only been sent to selected people. Not often this sort of thing happens to me so it was a nice surprise.
Had to go to L*dl on the way home to pick up cat food, so not a NSD but a low spend day.
Mr SA crashed his scooter this morning! He admitted he was going too fast and crashed into a barrier outside the park. He fell off the scooter and a passer-by had to help him back on. Thankfully the dog was fine. He's hurt himself but I find it hard have any sympathy for him as it was a result of his own carelessness.
Today's exercise is the walking to/from work and a live Zumba session at 6pm. Tonight's dinner is a fishcake that's been in the freezer for a while with sweet potato wedges and salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
And my first thought wasn't did Mr SA hurt himself but did he hurt the scooter. I am obviously a bad person. So glad the dog was OK.

Can the repairer put a speed limiter on the scooter???What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2
-
The scooter speed is limited at 8mph. The scooter isn't damaged thankfully. This is why I would never let him buy a scooter, he doesn't look after them, at least it's all covered by the Motability insurance. He was the same when he was working and had a van, this is a characteristic that hasn't changed. He seems to have an easy come easy go attitude to everything, I'm really careful with my possessions so this is highly annoying.
On another note, we had a power cut in our local area last night. I saw some comments on local FB groups, some said it was for a few minutes, some said as long as 3 hours. I was fast asleep so oblivious to the fact. I did notice the oven clock flashing this morning which means the electrics must've been off at some stage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
