Waving madly, currently catching up.... so
Page 40 Congratulations on your new job :j:j:jAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Ps due to the lurgy and insomnia have caught up. So full of admiration for all that you cope with.
Many of your MSE friends have had such wise words... so I make this observation... the latest consultant appointment said Mr SA is stable. It is now what it is. For both of you that reality is hitting you both hard.
I echo another’s words that I think counselling for you would be so helpful, to be able to work out how you want your future to be. Your life is equally important as your husbands and your families.
Some practical thoughts...
Would headway help you set up a support group in your area?
Could you start a theatre club at work via a notice board or the staff internet? When I was single I would go in my own, and still go to the cinema, I choose an afternoon rather than an evening. However it’s always better to have someone to share it with.
I hope you have a lovely holidayAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Happy October folks
That's Monday done
Suitcases all packed. Can't tell you how difficult it is to pack properly when Mr SA keeps shouting out random items.
Really good to hear from you again Bubblesmum
Taxi booked for 5.45 am tomorrow so only leaving 30 minutes earlier than I would for work. Mr SA doesn't normally get up until 9.30 so will be a shock to the system for him.
Have had a message from Hatton Garden to say they've sent the money to my bank. Need to check. Wish I'd not told Mr SA as he wants to draw the money for his chain out to spend NOW! He'll never be a saver, he's always been the same. The annoying thing is if he makes it to retirement age he'll still expect to be able to enjoy the same lifestyle without ever having had to make any effort. He's talking about buying some aviator sunglasses from the airport duty free. Told him to wait until we get to resort. I've paid for us to use the airport lounge as to me it's worth every penny being able to relax and not have to wheel Mr SA round the airport and queue for endless coffees.
Paid another £50 off Barclaycard, now down to £2130. Need to clear this by end March but the plan is to blitz it from November onwards so should be clear well before then.
I just feel like September ran away with me, I was so busy at work and home and my targets weren't hit, although I did stick to my budget which is a bonus.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

The dog is sulking - how does she know? DD will look after her, she just won't get fed at the crack of dawn or get two park walks a day.
Mr SA asked me to sell his gold chain Lucky so he knew how much it was worth. It was when I saw how much he'd get for it (£135) I decided to weigh in my gold chain I rarely wear because I've gone off it plus I've had it for over 15 years and it's dated. Then I threw in the single earring and old ring to make mine up to £200.
I think I'll keep my part of it as a pot for shopping days or I might put it towards a new phone. My phone is playing up, I've had it for five years, it developed a couple of faults today - no sound on phone calls (which is handy!!!) and flickering screen. Thanks to Google I've managed to fix it but I think it's time to upgrade sooner rather than later. The only trouble is if I get a new phone Mr SA will want one, even though his phone is fine. I want to do something with the money, I don't want it to just disappear on bits.
I am so looking forward to Lanzarote. Hard to believe this time tomorrow we'll be there and probably getting ready to go out. Temperature is over 30 degrees there at the moment according to the Puerto del Carmen FB group. We should land around 12.30 to 13.00 and PdC isn't far from the airport.
Happy days :jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
