  • Envious of you having two weeks off work!

Had to chuckle about Mr SA and the shorts saga. I think you ought to get out all his holiday gear on display and show him just how much stuff he already has!

    Have a good weekend SA.

    Well that's the weekend done!

Had gel varnish on my fingers and toes yesterday plus eyebrow wax and tint. Then met Mr SA in the new pub at the end of our road which has been open for nearly 6 months now and we've not been in yet. It's only tiny and is a real ale/gin bar plus has a resident cute fluffy cat :) We both really liked the place and will definitely go there again, they have live music and open mic nights and do Fizz Friday - might be worth a look. The gin menu was magnificent!

Today has been all about finishing the decorating. The painting is all done now thank goodness.

Had a trip to Lidl this morning, took the dog and Mr SA on his scooter. Picked up a shaver for Mr SA £16.99, he loves it, says it's the best shaver he's ever had. Anyway kept the box and receipt as I haven't exactly had positive experiences with Lidl electrical products, but you do get a no quibble refund when they develop a fault.

Tomorrow I'll be packing my suitcase and giving the house a good clean. Flight is at 9am Tuesday so not too bad, normal work time get up, airport is only 12 miles away.

Can't believe it's October tomorrow

Hope everyone has had a fab weekend :)

Forgot to say Mr SA had a gold chain he no longer wanted so weighed it in via Hatton Garden Metals £135, which prompted me to add the gold chain I've had for years and have gone off, plus an old ring I no longer wear plus a single earring - £332 in total! Sent off yesterday. That's it for the gold weigh ins now as I've got rid of everything I don't want.

  • Your new(ish) pub sounds like a good discovery, maybe you can persuade Mr SA to go out more often.

That's a brilliant total for the gold!
