Not as dire as the Halifax 1% !!  I really must switch banks but its such a fag checking they've done it right.  So far 2 out of 2 didn't get it right.

No matter what happens with the prescription, ring and ask for the Practise Manager and complain that their disjointed process is adding to your already considerable stress load.

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

Don’t know if I’m tempting fate 🤞 but I’ve had a good run with medication recently. They have changed the system of ordering some of the things I need and you have to contact the stoma team rather than the supplier who had to request the prescription from the GP. So far so good…..I’d expected problems 😳
    The cabinet sounds perfect 👍

There was I thinking thank goodness I don't have any problems when both my son & I had a phone call from the surgery half an hour ago.  The prescriptions I ordered yesterday were printed at the surgery instead of at the pharmacy & can we collect them.  I suppose I should be grateful that they still haven't noticed that I reorder every 27 days not 28 & so now have a decent backup.  It's surprising how those single days quickly add up.

I chased up the doctors and was assured the prescription team would ring back before they closed. They didn’t so he has no meds for tomorrow 🤬

Not good that he doesn’t have any med for tomorrow. It’s incompetence at its best…or worse 😡😡😡

Thankfully his meds aren’t exactly keeping him alive but he’ll start getting withdrawal symptoms if he doesn’t get them tomorrow. Our GP surgery and the local chemist are the double act from hell 🤬

Glad you got through to the GP but typical that an urgent return call wasnt actioned immediately. I hope you have sorted it now. As I suspected my collection was not straightforward. Apparently one of the meds only arrived yesterday so hadnt been labelled and another has had manufacturing problems so I only have half the number. The rest should be in tomorrow but I am not holding my breath. I wont go down tomorrow anyway it can wait until next week when we can call in after shopping as its on the way home. They did manage my inhaler with no issue.. I know the GP did the script within the 48hours as patient access confirms it and it has been with the pharmacy for over a week. To add insult to injury the whole pharmacy visit took about half an hour. I despair.
