We don't travel now, but it annoys me no end that they up the charge by enormous amounts for conditions that are totally under control with medication!!
Total rip off and they're just allowed to get away with it :rage:

Yes initially I thought that as my husband has been told he is low risk for anything happening but I do wonder if Covid has given them an excuse to up the cost of premiums.  A friend of mine who recently had the same op as Mr ES has told me her premium for insurance is more than the cost of the holiday. We won't be travelling outside Europe if that is the case with us.

    Morning, happy Tuesday.

I break up from work today, woo hoo 😁 Working from home, have lots of bits and bobs to do to finish up. Hoping for a shorter day than yesterday - I started at 7.30 and finished at 5pm.

Just looked at my payslip and I'm £20 worse off this month because of the NICs hike. I believe it evens out again next month though with the rise in the tax threshold.

I sorted out the finances this morning, paid off the cc balance and shuffled some money about. It's payday on Friday but as I'll be on holibobs I won't be able to do the usual payday money shuffling, I don't like logging onto my bank when I'm abroad unless it's absolutely necessary.

I need to compare house insurance quotes as my renewal quote is £40 more than last year.

Mr M delivery coming later, just one sub plant based mince for plant based mince, the sub is dearer but they've discounted it so I will keep it. Just had a message saying I'm their next stop which is odd as it's not booked until 2pm.

Today's exercise is live Bums & Tums at lunchtime, lunchtime dog walk and Resistance Band Training after work.

Tonight's dinner will be a use it up out of the fridge meal, same goes for lunch. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco for tonight to celebrate finally breaking up, feels very decadent.
