Happy St David's Day
You're doing well with the AFDs and NSDs, I think once they become a habit you're winning.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Thanks SA. Been off the radar for over a week as I have had the shingles. It really knocked me out, but slowly on the mend. Still feeling tired but can do the little things. Sorry to hear you had shingles, Mr SA had it after his appendix burst many years ago. You must've been at a low ebb immunity wise. Take care and get yourself well xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Thanks ramblehan.
Strange SA as I have felt great the last couple of months, exercising and going on this Vegan diet, with the odd vegetarian day. So thought my immune system was in a good way, obviously not. Starting to pick up and back at work this week, not back on the exercise yet though, just a bit of walking...Make £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£3100 -
Received my first letter back from my creditor confirming they will accept 65% of the outstanding balance to close the account. I offered 50% so pretty happy with that and it will mean another £285 off my debt. I will get that paid over the next few days. Feels good to start getting this final amount of debt paid off.
Will take mum out for some food either tomorrow or Wednesday as i wasn't up to taking her out on mothers day. Looking forward to that.Make £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£3100 -

Had a lovely meal out with my mum yesterday, great to spend some time with her and we over indulged in a shared dessert platter which was amazing.
As for the debt I have now settled one of the creditors bringing my debt down to under £5,000. Keen to receive replies now from my other creditors and get it all paid off.
Getting back into the study now and aiming to take the exam in June before we head off on holiday.
Pay day on Monday, been a bit off kilter with the budget this month but haven't over spent. Having the shingles meant I was home for a week and didn't spend anything at all which was the only good thing about that week. Still on the mend, thought I was over the shingles during the last couple of days and overdid things. However today it has hit me a bit and I realise it hasn't quite gone yet. So will take it easy for a few days.
Enjoy the weekend allMake £10 a day challenge - January 2023 = £292.89/£310 - Feb 2023 = £677.09/280 - March 2023 = £102.45/£310 - April = £300.12/300 - May 2023 = £306.80/£310 - June = £245.88/£150 - July = £295.45/£310 - August 2023 £51.56/£3100 -

Had a lovely night out with my BF on Friday, few drinks and lots of chatting, ending the night with a Burger King
Then a nice relaxing weekend with some study thrown in.
Pay day today so have sorted out my budget, bills and savings pot. Feeling very organised, and hopeful that I can keep on top of it all.
Going to try and get back to the gym today, first time since the shingles so hoping I do not overdo things. Have booked a few days onto the Easter bank hols so from Thursday I will be off work for a week.
