How do you change your password?
Is it just clicking on the 'send password reset email' link?
Have just checked my password, and it's quite a complicated one, wondering whether it will be necessary to change it.

Is anyone being alerted to new studies being available on Prolific since this attempted cyberatrack alert?

I have received  no notifications or available studies at all since the 'alert.'  Before this, even when many of the studies were already full,  I usually managed to get a place on one or two.  Although it is always very much  quieter  at weekends I have never known it to be with no notifications at all - not even ones already full.  Prolific Assistant seems to be all right although no notifications.

I have over £20 awaiting review but none approved since the 'alert.'  I have just over £5 already approved before the 'alert' but not  eligible for the £6 cashing out before the 'alert.'.

I saw a study last night and I have another there this morning. Both had lots of places. I don't use alerts though so just saw them on the site.

Thanks, Value.  It must just be a very quiet weekend for me.

Has anyone else had their account blocked over the weekend?

I had an email from Prolific yesterday morning, saying that my account had been blocked due to suspicious activity from an IP address in the United States. I wasn't sure if it was genuine at first but when I tried to login to Prolific it confirmed that my account had been blocked due to repeated login attempts :o

I've never had this happen before and am pretty sure it must be related to the 'attempted cyberattack' currently on their website banner.

No, nothing here.  Mind you, I did change my password as soon as we were notified of the cyberattack.

Passport reset email isn't working at the moment!
