Would someone be able to post an idiot’s guide as to how to change my PayPal dollars to pounds? I’ve looked at their page, but it’s not any help as it says there is a “more “ option in the wallet to convert, which I don’t appear to have. . Does it need a minimum amount? Thank you.ETA – I might just stop doing the dollar ones. It’s too much of a faff and probably loses too much in the currency conversion. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Update. For the benefit of anyone else having problems, the convert option is on the website but not on the app.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Enjoy the VR app and Take a Survey Copy

Did anyone struggle through this one? The VR app I was expected to use was so dreadful and fiddly to use that I felt the need to message the researcher afterwards to tell them just how bad it was. The VR experience was supposed to take under 2 minutes but I was 2 minutes into it before the voice over even told me what to click on, and then it took ages for the screen to show what was stated to be my social media feeds but turned out to be a survey (very fiddly to do on a VR screen) with an ad in the middle of it, followed by having to spend ages Alt-Tabbing back and forth between that and my browser to manually enter, a bit at a time because Ctrl-V didn't work, my Prolific ID in tiny fuzzy text and double-check to make sure I'd got it right. The estimated time was 8 minutes, I managed it in about 14 because I'm quite computer-savvy, and I see the average is now even longer. I hope they've got money in their budget for having to pay everyone extra.0 -
I managed to withdraw my USD to GBP in my bank account by doing two separate withdrawals when I transferred the money from my Paypal wallet - so a GBP transfer from my GBP wallet, and then a transfer from my USD wallet. Paypal didn't charge me any extra to do two transfers as far as I can tell.elsien said:Would someone be able to post an idiot’s guide as to how to change my PayPal dollars to pounds? So does your bank then decide what exchange rate is being used for the transfer, and how does that compare? It's not about any extra fees, I'm trying to work out how to get the best exchange rate for the transfer back into pounds.onemouseplace said:
