If I remember correctly, it was 3 companies, rated good/bad by random coin flip, 75%/25% chance of being reported correctly, financial advice. The bonus was for guess being close % chance of being a good company. Ring any bells?

I remember it now but I would be very surprised if I legitimately earned the bonus as I wasn't 100 percent sure I knew what I was doing.

Yes, that was it, only it was 55%/45% for me. I guessed that the answers requested were also 55%/45%, probably wrong as it seems too obvious, but I couldn't be bothered to spend the time working out the correct answers (if I could even have managed it). Anyway I guess my guesses must have been pretty close to earn me nearly £24!

I'm getting less patient with some of these studies. Had one of the ones today with the headphone test at the start where you have to pick the quietest of 3 tones, and there's no way to do it other than guesswork. I returned the study, as requested when I failed the test, but also messaged the researcher saying that the test wasn't fair for people with normal hearing and decent headphones, and also that any screening tests like that should be split off to a separate screening study so that people don't waste time on a difficult test for no reward.

Just had a response giving me 44p for the time I spent. Sometimes it's worth complaining!

If anyone gets this one, avoid like the plague. There is absolutely no chance of completing it in the time allowed - I timed out at less than half way through. I have reported it but am not holding my breath.

I’ve done a similar one a couple of times. You do get used to judging the quietest tone after a while but agree it’s difficult at the beginning.
