If anyone gets this one, avoid like the plague. There is absolutely no chance of completing it in the time allowed - I timed out at less than half way through. I have reported it but am not holding my breath.

Was this one where you had to categorise the image by gender, ethnicity, age etc, about 9 questions per image and about 30 images? I got ripped off a couple of weeks back. Researcher was a Chinese name but title was the same. They retrospectively changed the rate to 7.66 dollars from 4 dollars, but I only got 4 dollars. Was supposed to be 4 dollars for 20 minutes, took twice that. Complained to the researcher and Prolific but got no response.

Yes, that’s the one. My complaint has fallen into a black hole of nothingness as well. I’m not expecting to get paid at all because it’s showing as timed out and I stopped at that point. I wasn’t going to waste another 20 minutes to get to the end and then still not get paid.

Did you report to Prolific? Hopefully if there's enough people reporting the researcher will get blocked.

It certainly seems broken at the moment.  Looking at the source code, there is really nothing but reams of Javascript, which makes it impossible to get any idea of what is not working that ought to be.
