Has anyone completed this Study in the intended 15 minutes? Average 33 minutes and maximum 37 minutes.
I completed the Study this morning and took over an hour. I received a completion code but I had been timed out.
Although I know that, generally, I am not very fast, I usually manage within the allocated time. This time I really don't think I could have managed to complete in anything close to the intended 15 minutes.0 -
The instruction said to only label 5 pages, but there were 20 available. I completed the 5 in about 20 minutes and then 'completed' it with NOCODE. The survey was set to time-out after 37 minutes. I don't know why I keep doing this particular study - it's always underpaying and problematical. I've reported it.[Deleted User] said:Image Labeling

Thanks very much, JGB1955. That explains where I went wrong - I continued and completed all 20 pages. It was my mistake - Lesson learned!0

I've clicked "not interested" on the one that involves video chatting with other participants at least twice today.

I managed to get a place on that Study, olliebean. After about 15 minutes participating 'successfully' I had to wait (advised about 10 minutes) and to refresh from time to time waiting for a 'Partner' to join me and proceed with the remainder of the study. After another 30 minutes the Researcher sent me a message:
... Asking me to Return the study as a 'Partner' could not be found for me. The Researcher advised me that I would receive $1 (one dollar) for 'showing up' - Started at 12 mid day and Returned at 1.15 p.m.. I Returned the study and, so far, the $1 has not been paid. So, if I am paid, it will be $1 for one hour and 15 minutes ... for showing up.
It was such a waste of time.

Same here, never do video chat ones. Been doing a 5 day survey once a month for six months which requires speech being recorded, but that's as much as I'll do.

I’m getting more studies showing up when I click on them then tell me I’m not eligible. Which is quite annoying – almost as if the pre-screening is working, but they’re not stopping you from seeing the study anyway. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Is anyone else finding that the Prolific site is 'down' just now? I can't get access using Chrome or Firefox and Clicking on Prolific Assistant goes to a blank screen.0
