me too, it was just a general comment rather then thinking you had. But sadly these websites are quite unregulated and are pretty much a law unto themselves when it comes to things like this.Makingabobor2 said:

they can do whatever they want and no they don't need a reason for it. Swagbucks suggest you don't leave your cash in survey sites for just such an eventuality.Makingabobor2 said:
Surely they can't do that without giving you good reason. Have you raised a complaint?navidson said:Been deleted today after being an active participant for almost a decade

I had the same issue with Valued Opinions years ago - my account was flagged and closed, conveniently about 10p from cashout. No actual tangible reason given.0

Anybody struggling to get this one to work? Can't get it to start in Chrome (they specified this), tried in Firefox and am getting audio but no visual. Have contacted the researcher with no response. It was showing all 200 spots taken, but there seems to be more becoming available, think others may be struggling and returning.

I had this one. Video wouldn't work for me. I returned it, but then got a message saying I must return it as hadn't completed it. I messaged back to say I have already returned it.Slinky said:Anybody struggling to get this one to work? Seems to be a day of having to return big paying ones today. Had to 3 totalling over £11 and none of them would work so had to return. Very frustratingMaking the debt go down and savings go up

I'm getting a tad fed up with studies that don't work and then being messaged by researcher asking me to return it. I'm currently ignoring two messages from same researcher asking me to return a study that suddenly ended after I'd completed a couple of pages.

Saliency of mind and Legal decision-making

23 placesAfter consenting, you will firstly be presented with details of a legal (mock) case, followed by a face perceptual task, along with a few scales and questions to complete, and finally then some questions asking for some of your demographic information. You will then be thanked for your contribution through payment of £9 per hour for your time. The total time you will spend in a session will be no more than 2 hours.
I tried to sign up for this, but the consent form asked for my name and signature. It was also not 100% clear whether they would want to record video or audio. So I returned it, and messaged researcher saying why.
PS 1517 1/9/23 - to be fair, the researcher messaged back quickly to say they were "using a free trial, so will have to upgrade", and then again shortly afterwards to say it was now working. However, I had gone out for a walk and by the time I got back to it, it was off my dashboard. No matter, hopefully other folks got into it once it was resolved !

I had a study an hour or so ago (on concentration in the elderly) which asked for name and signature; I just put my initials in both boxes and it seemed perfectly happy with that. Paid out instantly on completion.

I have edited my earlier post above with an explanation from the researcher, hopefully now resolved for others. 0
