I had that one earlier. Not had anything else at all and the last week has been incredibly quiet and also things taking ages to approve. Can only presume that everybody is on holidayTommo2448 said:
Had similar earlier on a couple, but just got into one (Consumption of Green Personal Care Products) and successfully completed it, and it appears to be awaiting review successfully. So maybe they have resolved things ?DaveQ said:
Yep, same issue for meJohn1963 said:

I'm also noticing plenty of "New Study available on Prolific" notifications. It used to be that they were very often already full but, lately, an increasing number let me start and, for example, after clicking start and filling in my Prolific ID, there is some other reason, e.g. 'The desired survey is not active at present' and I can't remember them all but other different reasons given, other than Study already full, as to why I cannot proceed.
I have been contacting the Researchers when this sort of thing happens and have been giving Prolific the various reasons why Studies are having to be Returned. There have been no replies apart from one Researcher who thanked me for Returning my submission and, otherwise completely ignored the content of my message.
It is now much less usual for me to have a Study paid very promptly and, generally, there are far fewer Studies actually available than previously. Maybe it is because of the holiday season.

Eye movements and educational videos Copy

Took a while for it to be satisfied with the calibration for eye movements and then tedious videos to watch (2 x 9+ minutes) on physics. Tedious isn't quite how I'd describe it! The calibration worked fine, the first video (gravity) was mildly interesting until I realised the questions were going to be quite in depth comprehension, at which point the second video (vectors and kinetics) became a bit terrifying because it went right over my head and I had no clue when it came to the questions! But as you say it paid out well and quickly.silvercar said:Eye movements and educational videos Copy

Did any do this one (I just got it)... it asks for full name, email address, name of employer. I have messaged them since I am not going to provide that, but how did they get away with it? I will also report them as collecting personal information...

I waited for a bit just in case they would reply to my message, but then I returned it and reported for personal information collection.Shineyhappy said:I can’t get past the first page where you put that in, I put a n other for a company
I didn't bother making up the data, it seemed to be a promo for some personality test?! It said I would receive the results via email.1 -
I had that one, chose to look at the examples and didn't bother with the video. It was quick and approved within minutes.yupiteru said:Quiz: label accuracy of AI claims

342 placesUnfortunately I had to return this one as the instructional video would not play, other than a few words of introduction at the beginning. Tried Firefox and Chrome but kept getting a message stating the site hosting the video (Loom) was running slow. After faffing about for 15 mins trying various ways to get it to work including trying to download the video, I had to admit defeat.Probably could have got through it by looking at the supplied examples, but I do not feel comfortable unless I am fully briefed.Advised researcher of my woes but will be unusual if I get a reply.

Body scanning survey for fashion e-commerce.I want a heck of a sight more than £1.30 for sending them a video of myself in tight clothing. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.7 -
Also rejected that one. Not only the idea of taking pictures of myself in tight clothing, but the bother of having to change clothes just for £1.30.elsien said:Body scanning survey for fashion e-commerce.I want a heck of a sight more than £1.30 for sending them a video of myself in tight clothing.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
