Hi everyone, after a long time on the waiting list I was finally accepted and did my first survey today.

Slightly underwhelmed, it's apparently only worth 0.80GBP and although the time effort quoted was 8 minutes, it was more like 15 since I had to browse social media/websites on my phone for 5 minutes each during the survey. Curious about the process going forward and whether this will be worth my time, I'll try to do as many surveys as possible when I get them to make up my mind.

Its swings and roundabouts really, I have been doing them for 5 months now and had some really low paid ones like 19p!! But on the other hand I have had some pay £12!. So its just the luck of  the draw if you happen to be online at the time when they are looking for someone with your demographic really.  Just remember they are proper studies, not surveys, so they will mostly require a lot of attention and you need to get your answers accurate. They are not like the rubbish survey companies that just ask who you bank with etc.  I have certainly earnt more with them than with any other survey company

I took my first survey on the 26th of Jan and between then and now I have cashed out £41 with some still pending.  Payouts have varied from 10 pence to £6 so it really is luck of the draw, but it's a numbers game.  Some days I do multiple short surveys each paying between 10 and 30 pence, other days it's only one survey at £4.50, for example.  Whether it's worth your time is a matter of your opinion but I do some on my lunch breaks, on an evening when I would otherwise be aimlessly scrolling, or on a weekend when I'm having a lazy morning.  It's been worthwhile so far!

I must have missed about 10 today that had just one spot left on them. One of them, I'm sure I've seen at least 5 times with one slot left, over the past 3 days.

I would like to be able to 'ignore' all of the AI surveys from LRL Humans - they just clog up my phone/laptop with surveys I'm not interested in.  Would be good to be able to filter out some researchers!

Something I only learned recently, from this very thread: if you hover your cursor over the estimated time, it will show the average time that people have taken to complete the surveys.

And I second what the others say (and you imply) - give it a bit of time and see how it suits you. Bigger (>£2) and smaller (<£1) surveys come up all the time.

Is anyone who's doing the AI studies still waiting for them to be approved? They were automatically approved until this week and I'm not keen on transferring anything more than around £20 in one cash out incase it should go awol in cyberspace for whatever reason
    Hi Taloulah
Yes, I am waiting for 3 to be approved (4 ,actually, though waiting to hear back from researcher after getting a pop-up after filling in the feedback form, which said "something may have gone wrong with your submission"). Like you, I was being paid immediately for the first couple I did. Now, the last 3, plus my email to researcher, are all waiting .
I don't like letting credit build up too much on survey sites either. You never know when they are going to stop letting you do surveys/block you from the site/ stop you getting your rewards, etc
Similar happening here, waiting for six to be approved and paid now!  I also like to cash out in smallish amounts and quickly.  My last payment received was 10th Feb.  Still loads of these surveys popping up but I'm starting to wonder if it's now worth doing them?
There was a thread about this on Reddit. Apparently someone managed to complete a lot of those studies in a few minutes each and then boasted how they'd just been paid a load of money for very little work. As a result the researcher disabled auto-approval and have said that they'll approve them at the end of the week. They're currently 'modifying their workflow' to make approval quicker again going forward - I'm assuming this means they're putting some kind of validation in place to stop anything similar happening again.

I've got an internal dilemma about my employer. I answer honestly and thoughtfully to the surveys, but sometimes answer according to my division (a very separate entity of seven people within the wider company) and sometimes according to the broader company (at a guess around 1,000 people). I do sometimes wonder if they think I'm answering inconsistently.

Many thanks for giving us that info...it seems a rational explanation.  Those surveys have been coming through in shoals all day long for me, daren't admit how many I have completed, (properly I might add, no cheating!).  I wonder how long they are going to be running them and where they are getting the funding from??
