I usually get those just as I am about to start cooking a meal.
  • Is anyone who's doing the AI studies still waiting for them to be approved? They were automatically approved until this week and I'm not keen on transferring anything more than around £20 in one cash out incase it should go awol in cyberspace for whatever reason

Having not been able to look yesterday due to work, I get an hour-long £8.40 study pop up this morning 10 minutes before I’m due to start work.
    Always the way.
I saw that one as well,  I'm off this week due to half term so was more than willing to do it but couldn't get a place.  They only wanted 7 people anyway so not much hope of getting a spot.
  • Anyone else struggling to take surveys this morning?  I'm getting this error message via my 4G connection which was fine yesterday.

    Error

PEC-SUB-0002: We are sorry but we could not create your submission at this time. This may be due to your current network connection. For more information please see our help centre article.

And this error if I try via my ISP:

    Error

PEC-AB-0004: We are sorry but we could not create your submission at this time. This may be because you are using a VPN, proxy, or browser extension. For more information please see our help centre article.

    Hi Taloulah
Yes, I am waiting for 3 to be approved (4 ,actually, though waiting to hear back from researcher after getting a pop-up after filling in the feedback form, which said "something may have gone wrong with your submission"). Like you, I was being paid immediately for the first couple I did. Now, the last 3, plus my email to researcher, are all waiting .
I don't like letting credit build up too much on survey sites either. You never know when they are going to stop letting you do surveys/block you from the site/ stop you getting your rewards, etc

Similar happening here, waiting for six to be approved and paid now!  I also like to cash out in smallish amounts and quickly.  My last payment received was 10th Feb.  Still loads of these surveys popping up but I'm starting to wonder if it's now worth doing them?

I could see a button yesterday which I followed and allowed me to set my preferences, so seeing I don't do surveys on my phone, I set it for desktop only (or at least I thought Idid, I'm assuming the blue dot is yes and the grey dot is no). I've twice been offered mobile surveys this morning and nothing on desktop, so I'm not sure if there's something wrong at Prolific, if I've misinterpreted yes/no colours, or what. But I've turned everything back to blue again.

    Anybody else had this?

Didn't get many surveys yesterday but picked up an interminable image/information visual thing of which there seemed to be a series of 5 or six of them, with 100 images in to assess. Could have done more than one, but one was one more than enough, and it didn't seem like others were rushing to do them either.

Not a device selection menu, but i'm getting some sort of filter selection dropdown box popping up momentarily as the page loads just before it displays whether there is a study available. Too quick to stop the page loading and see what its about.

  • The filter appears when there's more than one study showing

The tab with the device preferences is under your account details. Doesn't appear to work.
