It's showing an incorrect balance for me at the moment. It's less than it should be with some of my earnings having gone awol.
Have you tried refreshing the page? My balance is only updating when I refresh rather than when the Web page automatically does it. Strange...

Cashing out works for me as of 5 mins ago. Fingers crossed it sorts itself out for you olliebean.

Yes mine was too and OH is still missing a cash out but has done a successful one this morning.

I think it is because they have been tinkering with the site as the buttons seem to have moved and now the balance tab is over on the right.  Why do people feel intent on making these so-called improvements.
  • Anybody else do the one on Elderly sleeping habits last night?   It said I had completed it at the end, but no code given. So I entered a NOCODE. Now researcher has messaged saying I missed 30 questions at the end & that I should be able to get back into it & complete it. I looked and I can't, it says I have completed it. I've told him this and said if it was a technical issue, I would still expect to be paid.

It's not that long ago that they moved the balance from over on the right into its own tab on the left, so I'd see this as getting back to what for me seemed like a preferable arrangement!

I submitted mine with NOCODE too, but was paid the £12.20 within half an hour of submitting it.  I kept a copy of the browser bar with the completion message but didn't have to use it in the end - I WAS expecting an issue!

Anyone having trouble cashing out tonight? The "Transfer money" button on the Balance popup doesn't seem to be doing anything at all for me - it just closes the popup without transferring any money.
I worked out what the problem was. I have Prolific open in a half-width browser window at the side of my screen, so I can see when new studies appear without having it obstructing other things on my screen. So for me it shows a one-column layout, normally showing the list of studies, but then showing the selected study if I click on one, rather than showing the study list and the selected study in two separate columns. (I open studies in a separate, full-sized window.)
It turns out the "Transfer money" button works when the site is showing in two-column mode, but not when it's in one-column mode. I guess I can live with briefly maximising the window when I want to cash out.

Same here - the same thing happened a while ago; the balance is not updating until the page is refreshed. They fixed it then, and I hope/presume they will again. Not sure why they're fiddling with a site that already worked well, tbh.

I never think of keeping copies of completion messages etc. Maybe I should
