I've had several small surveys and one for a fiver I had to return as it involved downloading software which I didn't want to do. I do wish it said at the top of the survey whether you need Audio, or downloads etc as my return rate is quite high because of these. Are we penalised for the number of returned surveys does anybody know?

Don't worry about returning studies. It has no impact on your account and you are not penalised.

They do say whether you need audio, or microphone, or whatever - it is on the left-hand side, beneath the study description, before you click through to it.

I know that, but it's beneath the study info and I'm using a laptop so it's out of sight below the text and I have to scroll down to see it. By the time I've done that, the study is full, so I end up grabbing the study regardless then having to return it.

I was just screened out of a survey for not having the required experience over the last six months. Which I can’t help but think they could’ve sorted with some pre-screening questions.
They have sent me a 1p bonus to make up for it, my cup overfloweth.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I think I have just had the same.

I actually feel that I finished the survey - took the amount of time they said - but I didn't have the experience they needed in the last six months and would I return the study for 1p.

    I have reported it.

Anybody else cashed out this evening and not received the money into your paypal account? Normally it pops up almost instantly, but not this evening. I've checked that my account details are showing the correct paypal details (having had a brush with the Phishing scam earlier in the week), but I've never had a delay in payment previously. Normally I cash out mid afternoon, don't know if that has had any effect.

Your post reminded me that I should do my withdrawal (I didn't do one yesterday), and it went straight through.  I have only once had it "get stuck" on the way to Paypal;  Prolific said it would turn up within a couple of weeks and indeed it did.

I requested a payment late afternoon which has gone in okay.

I've just cashed out (like two minutes ago) and it is in.

I do hope this isn't related to the scam study.
