HomeCooking: Play an online cooking game in a 2-part study (£12-15 pay for ~1h 45min)

23 places You will play an online cooking game in which you prepare several dishes while data is gathered on your actions in the game. This information, together with two surveys that you fill in, allow us to study decision making in the context of domestic food preparation.
I have been busy all weekend decorating, so did not look at Prolific at all. I have been promising my other half to decorate the bathroom all summer, so I had to get it done before the first frost appears, most is completed with some minor touch ups next weekend.
This study appeared this morning when I eventually logged in, but unfortunately I do not have the time available to spare but I hope someone manages to catch it
I hope your decorating went well - I took part in this study and completed both sections. It paid reasonably well, and I got a decent bonus out of it. I reckon all-in, both parts took around an hour and a half, and I got just shy of £15 for it. The study was fun, most of it consisted of a game (which became a bit repetitive by the end) and a few questions.
Well done, I am pleased that someone managed to find the time for it.0 -

Please make sure you are willing to contribute to this survey before participating in this study.
When I saw 'complete multiple writing tasks', I did think twice and I was correct to pause because this study took me 19 mins in total according to the stopwatch.
I did suffer the usual page 'stalling' issue and 'there is no internet connection' pop up, that I regularly get with Qualtrics hosted studies mind you, but even taking that into account the time quoted for completed was way out, for me at least.
Is there an 'easy' way to report underpaying studies now?

Me too. The only ones I've had over the last few days I haven't been able to get on, all of them only 1 place available and I can never seem to get that one place!1

I've had two today and three yesterday, albeit all short ones.

After a very quiet day with one short Study this one popped up and, to my delight and surprise, I managed to complete it:

It was really enjoyable and did anyone here also do this Study?0 -

This was quite an interesting one, there were 6 participants and I had to describe various images so the other 5 could identify them. There were 6 rounds of 12 images, and the first round took about 20 minutes so it seemed it was going to take well over an hour (which was the researcher's estimated completion time), but I guess part of the study was to see how people found shortcuts and improved their performance each time through, and in the end we did manage to finish in just under an hour - each round faster than the last! There were decent bonuses, too, stated in dollars so I don't know exactly how much, but they should amount to an extra £4-5.

I wonder if you were my 'Speaker' Repi in the Study - I was 'Listener' Bavi, olliebean! If you were - you were great at describing the images.1
