    A study about grocery shopping

    By Kwanho Suk
    £0.25 • £21.95/hr

     57 places

The first page of this one asked me to agree to a fairly standard handful of conditions; on doing so, the second page told me: "As you do not wish to participate in this study, please return your submission on Prolific by selecting the 'Stop without completing' button." Not much I could do about that, so I had to return it.

Olliebean - exactly the same thing has just happened to me with this one.

Willowcat27 - it's been very quiet for me too. The few I have received I have had to return - this one above being the latest.

I got the same thing and wondered if I'd missed an attention check question but obviously not.  I contacted the researcher but haven't received any reply.  I actually timed out on the study rather than returning it.

Same here as well, I thought at first I had made a mistake and selected the wrong choice, but I cleared the cookies and tried again from the beginning and the same thing happened.

I also tried clicking the 'do not consent button' in case they mixed them up but it was still the same result.

Same with me. The researcher clearly hasn't set the study up properly.

I thought the week had got off to a good start.  I did 5 studies on Monday but then so far it's been down to one study a day, and not high paying ones at that.  I'm not going to be on track for a fish and chip supper on Friday at this rate!

Same here as well mainly and those that do appear have been no places left for me.

A lot of people seem to be saying the same on other forums and makes me wonder if it just a down turn in research budgets at least partly causing the situation.

I understand about demographics etc obviously, but things do seem to be slightly different lately.

I've been wondering the same and whether there has been less money around to fund research given the current climate. It certainly wasn't like this this time last year.

It feels like I've been doing fewer studies, but I guess I must have been doing more higher paying ones as my income from Prolific has been pretty consistent throughout this year - and about double what it has been in previous years, which has been very welcome!
