Judging AI Decisions 19
By Jason Plaks£0.60 • £8.09/hr4 mins0 placesIn this study, you will read about and judge the actions of an AI.Pretty slow again today so glad when this one appeared. Took me a fair bit longer than 4 mins, but if I find the study interesting like this one was, I don't mind so much.

Yes I did that one as well. But didn't it make your eyes feel tired by the end of it? By default it is set to 'Automatically approved' so that payment is paid as soon as you complete a study.I wonder if there are any researchers have not noticed this new option and wondered what was going on?See image below of the new option on the researcher setting up a study page.

Decision-Making Survey
By pitt.edu£2.50 • £9.97/hr15 mins207 placesThis is an academic survey.
You will be asked to photograph an object and upload it. Thus, before proceeding, please ensure you are in your home and have access to a smartphone.
A bonus payment (of at least £0.5) will be granted to all valid responses.
Interesting idea for a study and I am glad that my flash works OK on my phone camera, as it was pitch black here when I took the photo of the object specified.
It did take a bit of hand acrobatics mind you, as you had to include one of your hands in the photo as well, I assume to prove that you did not download the image from the web, but as I discovered, my phone camera shutter button is not well placed for one handed operation.
It is 6.30 am at present and this is the second study completed this morning so far and I hope that the trend continues, as it has been very slow all week for me.

I did this study early this morning too, yupiteru. It was definitely 'different' and quite unusual.
It was really dark here and trying to juggle to take the photo' one handed was quite something! My flash worked and, since I am not good with technology, I was pleased to be able to upload it successfully.1 -
The only smartphone I have access to is my work one which I didn't really want to use, so I used my proper camera and it was easy enough to upload.yupiteru said:Decision-Making Survey

I have to say though, for reasons I can't share out of fairness to the researcher, that i really wish I had chosen something else to photograph! Those who have done it can probably guess why!2 -

Funny enough after I had struggled with my phone I realised I could have used my Canon Ixus camera, which was sat right next to me and I can't imagine what you took a picture of, maybe it's best that I don't

I've completed this and it was actually a short survey no longer than 7minutes. Huge payment for such a short survey1 -
They have made a further change this morning, so that you don't see your balance in the "your account" section, the only way you can see it is to click on "balance", where it now tells you how much is pending as well as the balance, and the transfer button is there too. It's annoying, as i like to cash in whenever it reaches £5 and don't want to have to keep checking, but it's just one of those irritating changes you get used to in the end I expect.koala987 said:Yes I've also had a few which have tracked immediately too - I just had one this morning on spending decisions which did this.
Also has anyone else noticed that Prolific have changed their website a little. Your balance is no longer automatically displayed when you log in to Prolific, but there is a separate category "Balance" next to the "About You" category which you click into.5
