By ucl.ac.uk£6.00 • £11.94/hr30 mins0 placesIn this study you will be asked to complete a decision making task.I initially started the study in Firefox (104.0.2) but the animation within the study did not move at all so I changed to Chrome and all was working fine.Took me 30 mins but I did not take any of the prompted breaks.

If you get the chance, then definitely do this one. It was so much fun, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It did say that it wont run on computers over 4 years old but it worked fine on my 6 year old Dell desktop.1 -
A study on cooking choices and habits

This study says it pays £0.75 but when you go into it, it says it pays £0.45. It also says it has attention checks but I couldn't spot them so they may have been obscure questions about the product details. So I may have failed the attention checks in any case!1 -
I got booted off one last night because it said my replies were inconsistent with my screening profile. Although that was just the basic demographics which I know are right so not entirely sure what happened there. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
I was exactly the same as you, value. Says it pays £0.40 inside but £0.75 and, on completion payment says £0.75.Value said:A study on cooking choices and habits

Like you, I did not notice any attention checks - so maybe I also failed them.1 -
This happened to me too last night. It was this study. It seems really odd that we both got the same message. As you say it was just the basic demographics and mine haven't changed from what's already on Prolific.elsien said:I got booted off one last night because it said my replies were inconsistent with my screening profile. Same here. I wonder if they are misinterpreting some of the demographic info. Definitely something a bit odd going on if three of us got incorrectly screened for the same reason.MrsWhippy said:

Play the octopus game - Chance to win 10£
By mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk£6.00 • £6.68/hr53 mins0 placesThis study consists of three parts:
First, we will ask you a couple of questions about your background and basic medical history. Next, you will play a game in which you can win points by helping an octopus catch shrimp! Finally, you will answer a series of questions about your mental and physical health.
In addition to the hourly payment, you have the chance to win a bonus payment of 10£!
Bit of a long haul this one and felt longer to me that the 56 mins it actually took me to complete.
You are allowed rest periods but I did not take any, as I prefer to press on a get it completed and rest once finished.
My finger is still aching from the finger clicking required in the game and I doubt if I will win the bonus as my finger ran out of steam towards the end
