Those “describe something in detail” ones are always a hassle - especially on a phone/tablet.2

Get up. Get washed. Breakfast. Work. Lunch. Work. Dog walk. Tea. TV. Bed.
That’s be my day in detail for that level of payment. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
I just listed the salient points as bullet points, and have received no objections from the researcher.

It's when they say "as much detail as possible" that really winds me up.

Opinions of your organisation's risk management
By lse.ac.uk£2.00 • £29.15/hr4 mins371 placesIn this study we will ask for your thoughts about how your organisation sees and manages risks. This study took me around ten minutes to complete, but to be fair that was the quoted 'estimated completion time'.Glad it appeared though, as after yesterdays flurry of activity, today has once again been like sailing across the Sargasso Sea.At least it's Friday - yippee.

Pizza Game 2.2
Hosted by Moritz ReisHas anyone attempted this Study? I was so pleased to get a place on it because it is the only one which has been available to me all day.I followed all the instructions, including the required download, but the ? screen resolution made it nearly impossible to follow the instructions. The Researcher's advice, in advance, as it was, he/she, said, a known problem, was to try again on another device. I did this and the second time I used my 'old', rarely ever used now, laptop..It was the same on both laptops but worse was to come. On both Laptops the screens went 'Frozen and white.' By using information on Google on my Tablet, and after quite a struggle (roughly 35 minutes) I managed to get out of the White Frozen Screens on the laptops to contact the Researcher. I heard nothing and was quite unnerved. I 'Returned' the Study (just glad to have my normal screen back) and informed Prolific ? technical problem. I worried in case it was something to do with the requirement to download to commence and continue the Study. Is this maybe just a 'one off' or has anyone else had difficulty with this Study?Thank you.

I’ve tried it on the laptop and the desktop. Couldn’t get the resolution right, couldn’t get back to a normal screen to start with so I turned the computer off via the power button and that did the trick. No response to my message to the researcher. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

9-minute survey
By Florian Zimmermann£1.35 • £10.38/hr7 mins106 placesIn this study, we will ask you to make a few estimates. This study took me around 12 minutes and you only have two attempts to get the comprehension questions correct at the beginning. There is also a typing exercise on the first page but it literally requires one sentence.I got one question wrong at the first attempt but luckily successfully corrected my mistake on the second go.

Expectancy study
By sussex.ac.uk£1.50 • £13.95/hr6 mins0 placesI completed this study, but rather than being directed back to Prolific or given a completion code, I got the following error:[jspsych-pavlovia plugin 2022.1.1] Error- when saving data from a previously opened session on the server
- unable to push data with key: daexpexp_PARTICIPANT_SESSION_2022-09-12_15h29.40.43.csv to GitLab repository: Cmd('git') failed due to: exit code(128) cmdline: git add /var/www/pavlovia.org/run/fmicheli/daexpexp/data//daexpexp_PARTICIPANT_SESSION_2022-09-12_15h29.40.43.csv stderr: 'fatal: Unable to create '/data/run/fmicheli/daexpexp/.git/index.lock': File exists. Another git process seems to be running in this repository, e.g. an editor opened by 'git commit'. Please make sure all processes are terminated then try again. If it still fails, a git process may have crashed in this repository earlier: remove the file manually to continue.'
I messaged the researcher to let them know, and told them I was submitting it to Prolific with NOCODE as I had spent time completing it and would expect to be paid. AIUI a technical error meaning the data is not saved is not supposed to be a valid reason to refuse payment, so I reckon this is the appropriate thing to do. Any thoughts? Or did anyone else run into the same error at the end of this one?<edit> The submission has already been approved, and payment received, while I was posting about it here. I hope the researcher did get the data, in spite of the error.1
