Two disappointments this morning: one, a 40 minute study about "wolfs", which just showed a black screen and then after a while a 504 error, and the other, a shorter study which after the intro page just said "Participants only lives in United States can take part in this study." So presumably I shouldn't have been offered that one in the first place. Both returned.

<edit> And a third one, about cybercrime, the study link of which just goes to a course overview page on the university website. Rather poor quality control from today's researchers.
I've just this minute got the wolfs one through too. I got the black screen with the message "researcher does not have enough credit to run this survey".  I've had to return too.
Same result as everyone else on both these studies.  I really like wolves as well so was looking forward to this one.

I took the "wolfs" study a few minutes ago and completed without any problems - certainly the pay was very good even though it was quite challenging (lots of memory recall).

I just had a failed cash-out due to a problem connecting to PayPal - it said my payment would be processed in the next batch. Has anyone else had this? Does it resolve fairly quickly?

<edit> I guess I got my answer - I got an email from Prolific that says "within 5 days (but normally a lot faster)." I think it's the same email they used to send out before they started doing instant PayPal payments.

I had that two days ago - I am assuming that I will get my payout by the end of today, since Tuesday is the next payout day.  In the meantime, I cashed out again, and it went to Paypal instantly.  But this article refers to periods of up to 35 days! https://!!!!!!.com/mr35aphc

I had 2 studies in a row deemed timed out. They were longer studies.. one was a 3 day one, the other I had a scheduled appointment, I left the page open with both yesterdays and todays, .. was I meant to go through the completion , even though it was ongoing? It said to either complete it or return it, I just presumed I had to wait until all parts of the study were done, and in the case of the one today. Until I had done the scheduled study.
    I hope that makes sense!

I think the maximum time allowed on the Prolific system for a study is 19 hours (or similar).

The researcher usually tells you what to do if its a longer one but its usually some version of just letting them know you've finished so I would do that.

Mine shows as pending on prolific. So I assume that means they are aware of the issue and will sort in due course. As long as it’s not lost, I’m not that bothered if I have to wait days.

Had a good morning so far, I couldn't sleep due to the heat so I've been up since 4:00am.  Managed to complete 3 studies, made £7.10 in total and all before breakfast. Definitely my first time doing studies that early.
