Deleted_User said:An update from this morning, ndf9876. Although my recent returned study is still 'Returned' I received a message from the Researcher giving me a link because more places would be available.
Because I could not access the Returned Study I clicked on the new link and secured a place for the 'procedure/study' via Zoom in early November. The link stressed that the Researcher would not see my email and I am reassured by that. A confirmatory email came to my normal in box (not Prolific) giving me the link to join the Zoom 'procedure/study.' I don't have any sense that this is unsafe and they have my Prolific ID number.
I have not experienced this before and there is no way of changing 'Returned' on my initial attempt. At that time I sent a message on Prolific explaining what had happened and, today, this is the Researcher's response. Does this sound all right?

A bit belatedly but if I were in your position, I'd be happy to do this. The researcher can pay you for a "Returned" study by way of a bonus.0 -
Hi all, is anyone else experiencing a '500' error particularly when looking at your account pages? It means I can't see how much I have pending and I also can't cash out. I've tried submitted a support ticket but no response and no luck in different browsers. Not sure what else to do!0

All pages are working fine for me, in Firefox on Windows. All I can suggest is clearing your cache and cookies.

This is definitely a site issue rather than cookies/cache as it happens on my laptop and phone.
Anyway, I've just received a response so fingers crossed for a quick fix.

Mine's been working ok - no issues. Have you tried a different browser? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Did anyone else complete "Employee-supervisor experience and work experience" hosted by Yat Wang? I never take much notice of the hourly rates - if I have time available to complete a study (and I can get one before they fill up), I just click on them. It wasn't onerous, but I realised afterwards that it paid a measly 70p for 20 minutes.
£2.10 per hour is disgraceful, and although it's entirely my fault for agreeing to do it, I have nevertheless reported it to Prolific. I'm surprised they allow studies which pay that badly, and assume they don't screen them before they are published on the site.0 -
I did it too and also reported it. I think it took me longer than 20 mins. Boy were the questions horribly samey!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
