Prolific Academic Survey Alerts

Anyone having issues today on firefox. It lets me open the about you tab, but will not open studies tab - I get the message 'authentication not provided.' Does anyone know how I can fix this? thanks

I can open all pages on Firefox - latest version, on Windows.  Have you Googled for the error message?

Did anyone do the Equality National Survey last week with the £10 reward, that apparently pays out in a gift voucher? And if so do you know who the voucher is for and how it's paid out?

I didn't get that one, but I have had a couple before (from the University of Liverpool) which paid in Amazon vouchers, by e-mail or message, I forget which.  And one which paid with an e-Visa card, which I also applied to my Amazon account.

I did that one; it's still showing as "Awaiting review." I assumed the mention of a voucher was for people doing the survey directly from their website, and that doing it via Prolific would mean I'd get paid via Prolific, as usual - are they allowed to do otherwise? I would assume Prolific wouldn't register the survey as paid unless it's paid via Prolific.

Just to follow up on this, I've now been paid the £10, and it did indeed come as usual via Prolific, and not as a voucher.

Did anyone get a weird "attention question" on a study about minimum wage?  It kind of went:

What is your favourite colour?
This is an attention question, it doesn't matter what your answer is, there is no right answer.
Again, what is your favourite colour?

I couldn't for the life of me work out if I was supposed to put a colour or not.  It rattled me so much I returned the study after completing it!

Yes, I got that, and because they said "it doesn't matter what your answer is", I answered with my favourite colour.

Did anyone else sign up for this last week its a zoom video survey had the instructions through for the second part today and I am a little confused as nowhere did it say in the sign up a second screen would be required
