Did anyone do the study about training preferences this morning, completed the whole thing then had an error screen after the classification data at the end ...0

Got my first study for over 2 weeks today, aimed at people living in America. I thought the whole profiling thing was supposed to screen irrelevant studies.

I had one a few weeks ago in which I was told in the Informed Consent document that "You are being asked to be in this study because you...identify aas a refugee or immigrant". I wrote to the researcher and objected strongly, saying that there was nothing in my profile to say so, and in fact I never recall having been presented with a question on that subject. They replied snottily, whingeing that either my profile was wrong or it was Prolific's fault.

Does this sound familiar: "participants were tasked with attaining as many 'alien dollars' as possible by selling a selection of chemicals to two extraterrestrials". I'm sure I remember seeing that one on Prolific. It's just been referenced in a BBC Science Focus article on panic buying!0

Is this by any chance "A Study on Interrogation Technique"? If so, and you are comfortable with Zoom video chats, I would recommend it (and it's not often I recommend the Zoom studies as the rates of pay are lousy). I had an awful lot of fun with this one, it's more like a game in my opinion.1 -

I had one previously where I got rejected due to ‘failing an quality check’.
When I asked for more detail they said “On the question ‘I am proud to work for my employer’ you answered slightly disagree. However on a later question ‘I am ashamed to work for my employer’ you also answered slightly disagree which is contradictory”.
After saying I would formally complain they ended up paying me.1 -
Did anyone else complete the "4-day study about job behaviors" from Eko Liao? It ended on 17th September, and the researcher was really great about approving and paying each study immediately. There is supposed to be a bonus of £2.78 for completing all studies in the series but I haven't received that yet - has anyone else?0
