    Nope it was a £1.

I've decided to contact and ask as I'm not the only one to notice.
I sent them a message as well.

They are slow in paying too.

Yes very. I went through a good streak in March, where I made more than £40, but for the last month, it's been very quiet

I was just about to post the exact same! I also had the study approved, and it went through at 80p instead of the promised £1.00.
I messaged the researcher just after the study ended to ask about the discrepancy, but they never replied.

    Email reply,

Thank you for your email. I have looked into this and I can see that they reward advertised on Prolific and the reward set for the study was £0.80. Unfortunately the researcher may have entered the incorrect information within the study itself. However, participants must be paid the amount advertised on Prolific, which is £0.80 in this case, and is above the minimum reward per hour specifications.

I have in turn replied stating the amount advertised was £1 and did not change within the study until I had completed it, otherwise I would not have contacted.
