Its weird as in 3 years Ive never experienced this. You would think Prolific would hold the money in some kind of 'store' until the researcher confirms its OK, then the money is released - which in turn would mean the money paid would be correct...Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

Likewise, I've never received any issue with payment. And the few times I've had issues, they've been well resolved. Three years though!? Do you feel the longer you've been a member and the more submissions you receive, the more studies you are exposed to?0 -

Nope, I am getting less studies year on year.
I have 1,060 submissions with £1,289 made. Others have more but the amount per survey seems fairly consistent.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

I'm in my third year and it is definitely a lot less now. It was absolutely manic this time 2017, sometimes up to 10 studies a day. I think it is a combo of more respondents on the database so surveys more shared out plus you get more studies if you are new as researchers can select if they want people who have not done too many.0 -

I remember that summer. Those were some good times.....
Im not so sure about what impact the number of studies people have done has. I would imagine there would be a similar number of them available and more people to do them, so we are going to get less naturally.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

It works enough for it to be a worthwhile addition. It does too frequently get the error message, though it does also prompt me to check the main tab, which can also have errors.
Sometimes it will come up with a survey before the main tab, which can be useful.
I dont remove and reinstall though and tbh it works fine for me.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

The PC is never switched off and this stops Chrome from auto-updating. That in turn stopped the Prolific Assistant from working correctly. I have just updated Chrome and Prolific Assistant started working again lol (as it was not working today). I will close and reopen Chrome daily from now on!!
I turn off my machine overnight so that would have the same impact. Saving energy etc.
That filthy £3.20 survey has paid out already - yummy. :TDebt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

I haven’t had a decrease over the years.....mine just seems to ebb and flow instead. I joined in March 2016 and yesterday I had 12 studies and today I’ve had 6 already. There have been several weeks (over all 3 years) when I’ve had less than 10 (in total) all week though, even when I’ve been checking every day.
I still find I can make around the same amount of money in a month (if I check the site often enough) to most other months throughout the years.
Just looking through a few pages on my history and I can see that I did 24 studies in 1 day a few months back and made around £40 in 2 days! That was after I had been ill for a bit though and not checked the site in over 2 weeks. That is something I’ve noticed.....if I’m busy/ill and don’t check the site for a couple weeks then I get 10-20 per day for a while after that. So the ebb and flow is partly down to them (providing more or less studies) and partly down to me (checking the site more or less).
Perhaps, for some studies at least, it’s not that they are limited to newly joined people, but just limited to people who haven’t done as many studies recently.0
