 After a disruptive night's sleep and feeling irritable and much below par this morning due to being woken every hour to complete this blooming study I have just submitted my final report only to get the message 'Submission Failed'! There is no way to get back into the survey to try again either.
I did the required number of individual studies and submitted them on time and as requested so to say I am furious is an understatement! As well as being annoyed at the outcome I also feel that payment for this study, (just over a fiver), is woefully inadequate for such a physically disruptive and demanding task. Did anyone else do this study this time and if so did you experience any problems? I will now take out my frustrations by messaging the researcher and Prolific.
"Thank you for participating in the overnight study. Several of you have reported that there was a problem with the submission code at the end. My apologies for the technical error, which we are currently investigating. Rest assured that if you completed the requisite number of surveys, you will be paid soon. Thanks again."0 -
I did this one a few weeks ago, and had exactly the same problem with the 'Submission Failed' message. Don't worry about it, you will get paid. This is the message that the researcher sent out last time :-

Many thanks for the reassurance!
I was a bit concerned that I had failed an attention check in the follow up survey at the end. By then I was feeling so dopey I couldn't think straight! (Isn't sleep deprivation deemed a method of torture??)

Prolifics guide is £5 an hour. If this thing is keeping you awake all night, then surely they should be paying you for the whole night. I think they need to take into account here they are asking you to do something which is way out of the ordinary.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

Got paid today for this survey I did yesterday, even though I recommended not to use my data as I felt the questions were every confusing and my answers probably did not reflect what was really being answeredMortgage £75,300 (December 2016) Mortgage Free Date December 2051
