A wonderful time?! :rotfl:0 -
Oxford Packaging Research Project: Cereals for Adults and Families (639)
Hosted by psy.ox.ac.uk
£1.70•15 minutes• £6.80/hr •445/500
Another one of those dreadful drag-and-drop packaging studies.
Edited to add: Also took me significantly longer than 15 minutes. Complete at your own risk, you might bore yourself to death.0 -

OK, I overestimated the level of interest this thing would hold for me. Asking the same question FIFTEEN TIMES I swear.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

Indeed. I really hope they're not checking for consistency, because I can't guarantee I felt the same about those cereal packs after 2 minutes vs after what felt like 2 hours...0

By the gods thank goodness its over. I always go into those (usually after not having had one for a few weeks) thinking, ah, how bad was it realllly....and after 15 mins of utter boredom, you remember the hard way.Debt: May 15: £17335 Jul 16: £13874 Jan 17: £11,606 Dec 18: £8,308 Sept 19: £4,969 Jul 21: £890

I don't think I've ever related more to a post on this forum.

I think I did one, a looooong time ago, and I just can't bring myself to do another! Sometimes I think about starting another, but unless I have insomnia at some point I just don't think I can bear it.0

Interesting psychological study

Just been offered the 'Overnight study III' after all this time...think it was originally posted at the end of Sept. Course I got stuck into the 'wake up' group! Can't believe I'm actually gonna do it for just over a fiver but I'm desperate for another 75p to get my next Circle payment. Oh Gawwwd must be mad!!
 After a disruptive night's sleep and feeling irritable and much below par this morning due to being woken every hour to complete this blooming study I have just submitted my final report only to get the message 'Submission Failed'! There is no way to get back into the survey to try again either.
I did the required number of individual studies and submitted them on time and as requested so to say I am furious is an understatement! As well as being annoyed at the outcome I also feel that payment for this study, (just over a fiver), is woefully inadequate for such a physically disruptive and demanding task. Did anyone else do this study this time and if so did you experience any problems? I will now take out my frustrations by messaging the researcher and Prolific. :cool:0
