Has anyone else participated in this Study this afternoon?  I wonder if accepting a 5 Euro payment via PayPal would be contrary to Prolific guidelines.  This Study requested a screenshot after, during the Study, watching and being requested to like the YouTube  video for a 5 Euro payment to "your" PayPal Account.

I felt uncomfortable about this and, after completing it (there was no completion code) I decided to change my submission from "No Code" to  Returned.   Ten minutes after Returning the Study it was approved and $0.25 was paid via Prolific.

I had some of the ai video evaluation tasks briefly pop up on my dashboard. I can't do them because my laptop is old and the screen doesn't have the necessary resolution. I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading my screen. I have other AI work I can do over on data annotation but if the video ones are comparatively easy to do maybe it's worth it?

Video ones are easy. It’s rating either the quality of them, or how well they meet the prompt, or sometimes the sound  and then pick between the two.
They do seem to come in fits and starts though, so I wouldn’t be spending money just for them unless it’s something you were going to be doing anyway

It's only about £40 to upgrade my screen and it would be helpful for other stuff. It's just a bit of a hassle though.

In this study you will have to answer a short survey about social interactions

Anyone else have problems with this one, 25th August?  I've been rejected due to a "failed authenticity check".  Messaged the researcher asking them to explain, and have heard nothing back.

Quite a few AI video studies on the dashboard. Maybe I should have ordered a new screen.

I managed to change my settings. On windows - settings, system, display resolution then either choose 100% rather than the  default of 125% or choose from the display resolution drop down menu..

That didn’t work on mine So I can only do them on my laptop now, not my desktop.

Changing the settings doesn't work on mine either. I have a really old laptop and I upgraded all the other stuff but haven't gotten around to swapping out the screen.
