However, it seems to have changed recently.  I get offered surveys that want access to my camera or microphone, want me to log into google, want personal information or are otherwise intrusive, or are just too long.  If I do attempt a longer survey, there's often a technical issue and I have to give up.  So far this month, I've made the grand sum of £4.34 !

I was just wondering if other people were having the same experiences, or whether it was just me. I was 65 a few months ago, so wondering if it's age related, as they are sometimes not interested in older people's views

That's almost exactly what I've been getting recently too, and I've been doing a lot less surveys because of it.

Too many wanting personal info, or downloading software, or just far too long. I've got neither the time nor the inclination to sit doing a survey for an hour and twenty minutes. I know some people will, but I’ve got other things to do.

So, no, it's not just you!

I'll do the long ones if they are well paid, but not for £6 an hour.

I finally had a specialised participant one. Although I didn’t realise that’s what it was at the time, it just shows up as that in the submission history.
It’s showing is $49.63 an hour - I’m not sure I believe that.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Is that a different specialised group to the Evaluate a ... ones?  I've had a few of those pop up over the week, but they seem to either be testing out new formats or a bit all over the place.  I've had a set of $30 ones this evening, but the others I've had this week have all been $20.

It was slightly different, yes. My usual evaluate AI ones don’t show up as specialised This was called frontend capture and was about looking at content and doing screenshots. It did allow multiple entries, but I didn’t have time to do more than one although they were only 15 minutes or so.

Oh, interesting!  My Evaluate AI ones are Specialised Participant (at least that is what the terms are listed as under submissions).  I've just had a look though and the ones that come from LRL are $20 but the ones from the FCRT are the better rate - I wonder if I'm in a couple of different groups now?

I did one of the AI evaluation ones tonight for $30 and most of the questions seemed to require specialist knowledge I don't have. I had to skip quite a few to get questions I could do.

I am getting thoroughly sick of the “Does your voice reflect your well-being” or whatever it’s called. If I try to enter it, it tells me I’m not eligible, but it’s been popping up every day for weeks now and I’m fed up with the blasted thing.

Anyone else struggling to get a space on the AI evaluation ones this week?  I've had them appear over the last couple of days, but when I try to start them they only allow x number of participants at a time and are full, even though they claim they have spaces. Then they disappear.

    Really frustrating.

They do come back later in the evening if you keep monitoring, I find.
