I might start doing that now - I don't have an issue with a quick check that I am a person and not a bot for example, I just really don't like doing group/ in person interview style ones.

The Rating Political Opinion Texts study seems to be hanging around. I thought someone said these were hard to do so I've not tried one, but maybe this study is different from previous ones. Has anyone tried this one? It's estimated at 38 minutes so I don't want to try it if it's really horrible!

Today, after over three years, and a 100% approval rate across 1600 studies, I got my first rejection.  The study involved playing melodies on an instrument by ear.  Singing was not allowed so I dug out my recorder and played that.  It's taken them a couple of weeks, and now they've said I was "singing".  I'm furious!

I started one of these but had to take a call after the first couple of texts and decided to return the whole thing.  It did seem to take a very long time to assess each piece of text.

    Challenge it?

I’ve just had an about me question asking how much I want to earn per hour. Very silly question – what do they expect me to say - below minimum wage, pretty please?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I had that too.  I looked up their minimum rate and put that.  I don't want them filtering out lower paid studies, I can always just not click on them.

It was ok, but repetitive and took a lot longer than stated

Anybody done this one? I couldn't get to the point where I could end the conversation and give feedback. Had to abandon it in the end. Submitted as finished with NOCODE and messaged the researcher.

I’ve done it. It was quite straightforward, but I’ve got a warning for asking an unrelated question. The “unrelated” question being querying the AIs qualifications to give advice on the question I was asking about.
I think that’s a two strikes and you are out so I have challenged it with the researcher although I still got paid. I disagreed with their take on what was related  and what wasn’t.

it was an easy one otherwise and if I remember rightly there was some sort of submit/end conversation button at the bottom, after a couple of turns.

I asked about 8-10 questions, but the second AI thing couldn't answer a lot of them. I'm wondering if that was the problem as the submit/end conversation button wouldn't show. Kept asking for more turns.
