'fine'?
What 'fine'?
But seriously, as you progress through this saga, it is increasingly important that you use the correct terminology.0 -
A parking charge notice is an invoice, usually a demand for damages for an alleged breach of contract. In many cases it is an unlawful penalty and a scam, what makes you think that it is a fine? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Sorry I don't know why I put "fine" its been a long stressful day.
I have re read my email I haven't wrote "fine" on anything lol just to make sure.0 -
a parking notice IS a invoice , however a penalty notice is normally a fine or court , and in the case of indigo , they are stating penalty notice and an "offer" [STRIKE]bribe[/STRIKE] to pay this or go to MAGISTRATES court
so simply declining to pay , would put indigo in a position of not only loosing money , but taking the wrath of the DVLA by passing info to the train Co , who will in turn loose money by starting court action (within 6 mths)0 -
GRRRR Indigo are just stupid.
Below is the response I have just had back from my second letter - In my letter I commenting on the points they had wrote in the last letter - This one has no reply to any of them.
Dear XX
Thank you for your seconds letter Regards MS X Case. I am Sorry to hear that her concerns remain.
Unfortunately we did not receive and appeal from Ms X against this penalty notice. Could you please confirm whether this was submitted online or via post. If sent by post , this should be done by recorded delivery. Does Ms X have a royal Mail tracking number?. If done online unfortunately this was not submitted successfully as we have no record of it.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure they have read and adhere to the signage throughout the car park. At this car park, customers are required to display a ticket and there is simple signage to remind customers to do this. Because no ticket was displayed Ms X was liable to a penalty notice.
Could Ms X please provide the verification code that she used to appeal to POPLA? Unfortunately I am unable locate the notice on hold with them.
Geez - So in the letter previous to this, they had said I appealed to ZZPS - but now they are saying I haven't appealed? I appealed to Indigo, and I have their code they sent me so I could appeal to POPLA.
I get that I didn't have a ticket in the car, but I had paid my fee, not under paid, not over paid, I paid the correct amount.0 -
Stop saying I she or he, unless the driver was already revealed. Edit your post.
Simple response querying why apparnetly there was now no appeal, giving copies of any odcs you have proving this.
Also aks for answers to questions you raised on x date
It doesnt matter that theyre stupid - well, it actually helps you get to 6 months.0 -
I think the 6 months was up 6 months ago! It's a question of getting her Dad's money back, and sending them back to the kennel.0

As Stated - I had already told them the day after i had the PNC that i was the driver and not my dad! they had taken all my details and so did ZZPS.
Its about getting £170 that my dad was forced to pay ZZPS. even though he was not the driver.0 -
1) He was never forced. He chose to pay
2) Sue ZZPS.0 -

Depends how you define "forced".
To apply pressure, such as by saying "if you don't pay, the consequences will be dire", and to do it in such a way that it impinges on a person's freedom of choice ...... I'd say that would be forcing a person to pay.
The point is, he was wrongfully "forced" (or persuaded, or leant on, or pushed). He didn't know he didn't have to pay.0
