I'm in again please. Late to report in as ever. Merci Valli pour le thread nouveau, et Natty pour la semaine dernière. Phew! That's out of the way, my brain can go back to mushing for another half hour or so....

DD called 3 times. Hey ho, it's Monday again.

    Have a good day everyone.

Bonjour mesdames qui volent - This may be a literal translation, as I've forgotten most of my French!

I'm in again this week. Went off the boil over the weekend and diet disappeared out of the window with two fast food burgers, chips and diet :rotfl: Pepsi. Ended with lots of Amaretto and crisps, so feeling a bit bleurgh this morning.

Welcome to the newbies :hello: - I hope you are better at this than me!

Piggers - your eBay sales are impressive. I have a few things I could list but I'm a bit terrified of getting a grotty buyer. Do you show lots of photos?

Huge congratulations on the safe arrival of your grandchild MrsMP. Enjoy all the snuggles.

We had a dusting of snow over the weekend but not enough to get excited over. We are, of course, on flood alert for the mountain melt/run-off...sigh...that was a lovely three o'clock phone message.

Big hugs all round - help yourselves to spoons left in a bucket by my front door x

oh,oh - that's just over the river from me - I'll wave at you when you're there  Yeah, I'm daft - but I think we already knew this :D

    Morning everyone xx

Morning routine has served me well as I seemed to have pure adrenaline / cortisol / whatever it is flowing through my veins when I woke up  (but I had been dreaming about floods, liquefaction, hoarded explosives, and a florist's shop where the fig trees had turned triffid-like!!!- I don't know why I have a tv licence I get to watch movies when I sleep :o)

I am showered, hair washed, dressed and breakfasted. Pack up is ermmm packed :) I've made the bed and the bird food is ready to go out. Just catching up with le fred whilst decluttering a brew. Laptop played nicely this morning and tuned itself in at first time of trying :T

Welcome to the newbies  Thank you to Natty and Valli for the lists. I hope everyone has a good week and YL I hope you got where you had to be safely this morning. Well, same goes for all you lovely ladies xx

    Au revoir ;)

  • Morning all :)

It's a positively balmy 7 degrees here today! It will be nice to walk to school without being scared of slipping and breaking something!

So far I've made the beds, set the WM going and sorted DD school bag. Will set the DW going shortly. After school run I have some errands to run, then lots of dog walking planned. May also have a walk to the shops.

DH away all week so I can eat at kiddies teatime with them each night (5pm), which should help with slinky challenge.

Best galvanise kiddies to clean teeth etc, have great days all xx

Decluttered another 1lb for the slinky challenge.

Resisted a couple of items that didn’t sell.

Completely rearranged plans for the next four weeks. I don’t know whether I’m coming or going.

    Bonjour,
Up and raring to go this morning, long may it last.

Natty, Valli thanks for running the thread and big thank you to all the wonderfully motivating folks on here.

Hoping to fly well today as working Tue, Wed & Thur and Fri morning. Living and Kitchen not too bad so should be doable and want to tackle bedroom and get that nice again. WM & TD already on.

Thread seems to be very French, how exciting! (I'm in France)

    A très bientôt

    Morning

    WM is on
2 eby sales packet and ready to go
2 more items listed on eby, I take about 3 photos of each item, front, back, any marks etc, for more expensive items about 8 or so, but I have run out of expensive items to sell, having been selling 'stuff' for about 6 years now, eby will helpfully via your 'dashboard' on eby show you how much ££ you have made since you opened the account, I was shocked at least when I clicked on it the other day, but all the money has been put to good use!!

Cat is asleep in his igloo bed
    Floors to be done
Food shop to be done fridge is all but empty so I have already cleaned it this morning, but that didn't take long either.

 to all newbies, we are a good mad bunch, enjoy the trip with us!

  • J'ai mal aux dents.

Well, where le dent used to be until yesterday morning. Was going to work until I stood up to brush my hair and felt sick and dizzy. I guess it's something draining, as there doesn't appear to be any pain now. Absolutely no problem calling into work, either, they just said 'oh. Keep us informed'.

So I'm back in bed. Where I intend to stay for a while.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

*Healing vibes* ! votre dents, JoJo Le Tightfisted. That's as good as my Franglais gets.
Welcome back MadamMim and welcome Horse Owner!
As many times as there are good films Frodders. Twice a week isn't excessive.

Superking changed and lodger's room vacuumed, first load through the WM and double spun, there will be more loads today until the backlog is cleared and the dog's very smelly blankets are depewified. Shower room about to get a drubbing and freezer engineer booked for a visit this afternoon because it's clanking, exactly 1 month after the guarantee ran out.
    Better is good enough.
