Thank you for the freds, Natty and Valli.
I will try to post every day, but don't expect to achieve much beyond dailies (WM morning and evening, keeping on top of DW, food, pet stuff) until Thursday.
Mon - after-school meeting and DS2's drum lesson, home by 6.30ish
Tue - tutoring and vet's appointment, home by 7ish

Bonsoir tout le monde - je serais 'dans' cette semaine! Merci Valli:A
Need to sort myself a 'timetable' for the week so that I get stuff done - have found my Mr Bump timer so I can set myself certain times to do things (and not lose too much time online)
How many times is too many times to go to the cinema in one month?

Great news Mrs MP - have you had lots of cuddles yet? x
Hugs to all who want or need one - totally get the Eeyore / Tigger analogy and understand the anxiety too. It's great that we can all 'talk' on here xx

thanks for lists.
Like many others, I woke up to snow this morning, unpredicted, and although I usually like the stuff, the thought of driving to Basingstoke to pick up MIL wasn't attractive. Wimped out of going for a run but walked very briskly to church and back - all of 15 mins!
Tried really hard not to eat much all day in anticipation to the meal out with brother, sil, mil and bil but couldn't resist a C0sta when we stopped for petrol which has tipped mfp into a nasty red minus sign.
Other activities today:
filled bird feeders - loads of birds today in the snow, lots of fairies.
finished a report.
checked toiletries etc for holiday so we can share with bil (who is coming with us) and not take 3 of everything.
got spare bedroom ready for mil (Mr N did that).
main flying was being on the refreshment duty at church!
wrote a list of things we have to do this week.
Snow had turned to sleet when we left home at 3.30 although was still on the ground until about Heathrow. Lovely meal. Excitement on the way home as I got stopped by the police; he thought I was on a mobile while driving but it was the reflection of the sat nav. He managed not to laugh when I offered him my ancient, non-smart phone with a screen about 4cm in diameter - you'd have to be very eagle eyed to read anything off that while driving! As I don't drink he wouldn't let me have a go at the breathalyser, and his device for checking car and licence details wasn't working so he just sent me off. I offered to leave him all my details on paper, but he wasn't interested; probably too young to know what paper is!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Can I join in? I'm a first timer but my house is a tip and I want to sell at some point0
