For those unused to the ways of this thread, the conversation currently ongoing is because people are bored out of their minds without the new Virgin to discuss.

Nobody seems to have entertained the possibility that there won't be one and that this is the end of an era. If in fact there isn't one, the depths to which people will go to fill the void are as yet unplumbed.
