Thanks James.
For those with Issue 18, a little snippet from the current terms:The Bond can be opened as a Joint Account but this offer is limited to only one Bond of any given issue number for each customer:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Thank you.
Also spotted that Faster Payment on maturity is an option for those of us with issues 17 and 18 close to maturity0 -

Without waiting for Principality to respond to my query about having Issue19 in addition to an existing Issue18 account, I succeeded in opening a new Issue 19 this afternoon. Funds have been sent and now waiting to see if the account is credited....
Update: Funds credited to the new account (within an hour of being sent).
Update2: Secure message from Principality confirming that holders of Issue18 can open a new Issue19 regular saver account.0 -
Received my maturity letter for the above account [maturing on Dec 31st]with options laid out.
Option 2 states “You can move your money into another Leeds Building Society account. From 1st January we will no longer offer a Regular Saver product but we have a range of different saving products available.”
Looks like Issue 22 is the last and will soon become unavailable?0 -
Virgin money's regular saver is a store only account to open it. I did used to have their online regular saver.
I live in a city with a Virgin money shop so it'll be easy to open one.
Can I still manage it online? For instance if I wanted to make payments in or withdrawals out - can I do this online? Or does it mean traipsing into town with a savings book everytime?0 -

OH has received the same letter today. Diarised for OH to open Issue 22 on 31st Dec.
Will be a shame for Leeds BS to withdraw their reg saver.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

It's a branch only account so can't be viewed/managed online.
You can pay in online via SO or faster payment (with your current account provider).
Withdrawals/closure can be done in-branch or via post; not online.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Thanks, Karlie88. On their website it says payments in & out can be made by electronic transfer - I wondered if that meant that's just how the payments are sent/rec rather than can be done electronically online...
I'll be giving it a miss I think0 -

You can make payments in online, and setup Standing Orders to make the payments.
You cannot see the account online.0
