(((hugs))) pen-pen, take it easy with that back!
csarina - your doctors sound like ours! You have to phone bang on 8.30am, and keep re-dialling if engaged! Then you'll be lucky to get an appointment!
Well, I was awake from 3.40am, cat napped again! Why am I back to sleepless nights!
DD parents evening went brilliant. Everyone loves her, and its great to hear that they all had a fight over her, regarding who's class she wil be in! She is demand! I hope it continues!
Got to fetch an item later off freecycle. I put an ad on for a cat flap, as the dog decided to stick her head through it and broke the flap! Need it replacing before it gets mega cold!
OH will be visiting his nephew tonight in hospital. He's no better, and the pneumonia doesnt seem to be shifting. He has a lot of fluid on his lungs, so on a drip to drain, as well as the antibiotics have increased!
Dinner tonight is Chicken, bacon & mushrooms in a creamy mushroom sauce (well campbells soup actually), served with pasta! Cheap & easy meal!
Its my dad's wedding anniversary on the 25th, so that will be an excuse to visit. Ive not seen him in months, especailly since he's moved! He's even changed his landline number, and Im not privledged enough to have it! So, will make the effort & pluck up courage to go at the weekend.
Best get ready for work
Love to you all

Morning All
Late on today as very busy at work. Had a very hectic week and put in a lot of extra hours - for nothing I might add.
Got a lads' night out tonight - apparently I'm an honorary lad so have to go:rolleyes:. Hoping it won't cost too much as really can't afford two meals this week, but somehow have to.
Not done any of my click throughs recently as I've been too tied up at work to do them. Must get them done today. Need some extra cash pronto.
Still don't know how much my car's going to cost or when it'll be fixed, but not looking forward to the bill.
Hope everyone's okComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -

Morning all
Wet and wild here this morning and set to get really chilly tonight with a frost.
I've swished and swiped, made 2 cards that someone ordered, 2nd load of washing is in and I'm just about to make a start on the ironing.
Still waiting to hear back about the house I looked at yesterday - the letting agent is hoping the landlord will drop the rent but typically the landlord is out of the country at the moment so having to wait for messages to filter through.
Thought I'd be good last night and spent 15 mins sorting a chest of draws and bining/recycling anything we didn't want - started a bootfair box and sorted through my fabric stash. I'm one of these people that if I'm going to move then everything has to be clean, packed well and the junk has to go - not like a friend who I couldn't belive took the kitchen draws from one house, drove to her new house and just opened a draw and tipped it in  Maybe I'm just to anal.....anyway - if we don't get the house at least this one will be a bit more clutter free.:D
DH will be home tonight - he's always gagging for something home cooked when he gets back so chicken and veg pie is in the offing tonight (well it's in the freezer from when I made a huge batch up last month) will have that with mash, veg and stuffing balls.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

making fish pie for tea just need to get some potatoes.
DD2 has given me a recipe for school which shes chosen her self but says its had to be from her teachers books well the recipe is for lasagne and she needs 2 jars of pasta sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzorella cheese, parmesan cheese and some cream but only 1/2 cp of milk i'v told her before she knows i'm on a tight budget and to pick recipes thats she knows i will have the stuff for., i offered her a recipe for lasagne but she said no it had to be that one:eek: the other day she was making a pizza and needed 4 chicken thighs and about 10 other things she ended up not doing it.

Morning all,
Plans for today:
- Ironing
[STRIKE]- Bacon and parsnip soup[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- Finish washing[/STRIKE]
Might do some other bits as well, but then again I might not
OH didn't go to sleep last night. I am a bit annoyed with him at the moment because he seems to be spending quite a lot of money - just bought a computer for £80. Yes, it is a bargain but it could have waited. I guess I am panicking because I'm not 100% sure how we are going to be able to pay next months rent.
Oh I got a bargain on my ink cartridges - £10 for both (black and colour) instead of RRP £25 each (with half the amount in) :jWe must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
My day just got better :j Popped into w*** as there was a rumour of cake :T (it's my birthday at the weekend). Not only has my boss made me one (what a great boss :A ) but my colleague has made a clementine and Maya Gold cake      Yes, I will be getting the recipe :T

Hi all,
Sorry to hear so many full of colds, etc. Hope you improve soon.
It's blissfully sunny here again today. I can feel the heat on my arm through the window now. Washing is all hung out and blowing happily and another load is whirling away in the washer.
Taking a little break before hoovering and then mopping the floors. Loo and bathroom all sparkling, too now.Actually loo gave me a bit of a scare just now. I flushed it a few times after cleaning it and I noticed that the water fill up sounded different. It was really gushing. As it didn't seem to be slowing down I thought I'd have a little peep inside system (DH's territory usually). To my horror it was almost overflowing. Something in the back of my childhood memories made me think 'stuck ballcock.' Yuck I had to stick my hand in then and release it off a toilet cleaner thingy. Who put that in there??
Anyway, all sorted except I want to go to loo and am a bit nervous in case it does it again. Might get DS2 on standby with the marigolds on.
Away to drink hot choc that afore mentioned son has just made me.
See you later.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

Hello all!:hello:
Just got home from my mornings work and thats me done workwise for today. Went to town centre on my way home to take some library books back and was pleased with myself for parking in a nearby housing estate and walking in instead of paying to park (a small victory I know, but every little bit helps!) Plus I actually took the books back on time! I usually completely defeat the object of free book reading by taking them back late and having to pay a fine. Then I went into asda and managed to get almost everything on my list from the reduced section - the gods of MS are shining on me today! Also saved £15 off my mobile bill yesterday by changing tariff - I've got a better tariff for less money now :T
(((((HUGS))))) to all those who need them - hope your colds etc get better soon
HAPPY BIRTHDAY the Miss N9eav - have a good one!
I'm going to spend a good three hours now cleaning my house which is DISGUSTINGI hate housework.
I am then going to visit my mum and we will walk our dogs together - a great time saving exercise as I get to walk the dog and chat to mum at the same time.
Finally I will haul my weights in out of the car and do myself a workout in the lounge infront of the space where our TV used to be (have just cancelled the TV licence in favour of a monthly DVD rental package as we can watch them on the Computer and we hardly ever watch TV. Have also cancelled the gym membership, hence the home workout!) Then I'll be using all the scraps of veggies and leftover roast chicken to make a curry for dinner.
That's quite enough gibbering from me for now, I'll pop back later!October grocery challenge(started 17/10/07):
Asda - £11.98
Aldi - £10.36
Parking pot: £1.00 (everytime I walk into town instead of parking on pay and display, I put the money saved in a jar)0
