Feeling warm here this morning as OH put the heating on when he got home from work this morning. Will wait till DD has her shower then will turn it off. Plan to do some hoovering and cleaning this morning so definately wont need it.

Plan is school run then deep clean front room and dining room. Ensure upstairs is clean and tidy from where I did it friday and wash kitchen floor then dare I say it I will be quite up straight. Need to be as still have ironing mountain and need to declutter and organise my new office.

Will only do the minimum of paperwork today. Also will update my Xmas present list. Tonight nothing will be done as the footie is on.

Got another chq in the post yesterday after I came home from town so need to go to another village to pay that it. Luckily picked up a mystery shop for the same village so that is good. Forgot to get meat out of the freezer so will get some whilst Im out.

Thats about all for now, have been reading the coffee making thread and am now desperate to get a stove top coffee maker but am going to try and be patient as have promised to take DD shopping in Chelmsford saturday and I know they have a whittards there - cant wait.

Morning all...........((((((HUGS))))))))) if you need one.............

Up early, I have to go across to the Doctors and queue for an appointment, I went the other day to book to see mt GP and was told the first avaiable appointment was 31st October!!!!!!!!!! If you need to see her before you will have to ring or come and queue for an emergency appointment, so I need my 6 monthly scripts renewing, so off I go.

It poured with rain last night and my friend in the complex had rain pouring through the roof again, so we had to get the electrician out, it was dripping through the ceiling light in her bedroom.

Its 'oldies' day at B & Q so we need to go and get a new hasp for the shed, and go and fit it.......the chap next door had one with covered screws and they had prised that off so we will have to look for an alternative, is it worth having a yale type put on.....I doubt it they would just undo the screws on the door hinges.

Right off to join the queue at the Docs...............

Good morning all - not been on for a couple of days - been having internet connection problems.

Still not finished catching up on the threads from last couple of days so good luck and (((((((hugs))))))) to all who need them.

:j :j for everybody who is celebrating in one way or another.

We had scouse and dumplings (done in SC) last night - and have some left over that we can finish for lunch today. So we can have something uncomplicated for tea tonight - maybe beans and egg on toast or jacket spuds.

Yesterday I placed an order for a veg box to be delivered on Friday - bit of an experiment to see how they work out really. £10 plus £1 for corn on the cob and £3.00 delivery charge. Difficult to know how the quantities/quality will work out - but no doubt they will make sure that both are good (at least for my first order) if they want to be sure of keeping a new customer.

DD and her bump are still hanging around - another 2 weeks and 4 days to go! Everytime she rings I think 'This is IT!' I've finished knitting some more baby items for her. Could perhaps do with a trip for some more wool - so may have to venture to my favourite shop (Abakhan's) - if I'm not seen in again a couple of hours please send for the search party and tracker dogs!

That's me finished for now - will pop back later to have another read.

Morning all and a very happy birthday to ageandjo and ms n9aev - N9aev mke sure that you and OH celebrate your acheivment in bringing dd to adulthood - just think no more worries about her (I'm lying - it actually gets worse :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: just different worries)

well I am phoning work in a bit to tell them I have man flu. dd will be off as well - she has an itchy ear which is a sure fire sign that she is getting an infection. feel really disapointed actually as this is the first one since gromets in february and she was getting infections about every six weeks. Hope this is a one-off. She used not to tell me about it until they were about to burst so I am hopeful that we may be able to save the drum this time. Her poor ears are so thin and scarred that there is a real danger of her losing hearing permanently.

On a happier note i have located ddad - he phoned last night to apologise for not turning up as expected - well I had already told him that I would be at work so he should go to his sisters. Anyway he is coming with her on thursday and staying overnight and then we will see him again on sunday. I will need to make some bread, a cake and a veggie cottage pie - I guess it's Mum Flu really then - you know where you just keep going regardless. right drs should be open in a bit so I will spend the next 30 minutes hitting redial in order to get a dreadfully inconveniently timed emergency appointment for dd.

Morning all,
i must say thankyou to all the kind thought yesterday concerning
my ex-friend.Althought it was my choice it was hard but i feel so much better for it.
I have not yet seen her but she only lives 5 doors away so i will soon or later.
Any way ds who is trouble with the police at the moment
(the PC told ds that" he know he was lieing because ds didnt look him in the eye"!he is the one with aspergers)
Well ds has a appointment at mobility centre so only thought that he could have the whole day off school!
And later day dd has a school thing about next year work experance
Tomorrow im at grans for a school day
Friday off to butlins for the weekend looking forward to it ,2ds left home
SO a very busy week coming for me but i find im better if busy.
